A lovely and elegant theatre that takes you back to a simpler time. The screen is in great shape and the sound is very good. Social distancing is provided here and you need to wear a mask to enter lobby. Price per ticket is generally $12 but at this time, tickets are $5. You can order food, wine and beer along with candy, popcorn, ice cream and sodas. It was a wonderful experience
Tickets are non-refundable so be careful when ordering online in advance. Yeah... in 2023 with all the convenience of online ticketing and literally every other vendor making it easy to cancel tickets in advance the Riverwalk staff will gladly tell you on the phone, "you want to cancel? Our tickets are non-refundable. It says it at the bottom of the web page. Sorry" and hang-up.
Great place to come watch a movie. I do miss the bigger theaters from the city, but this place leaves them in the dust just on ambiance and vibe alone. The place has a cozy vintage look, but is incredibly well-maintained and modern in the parts that count, such as water bottle filling stations, restrooms, etc. Any issues in the theater, which are rare, are fixed incredibly quickly, and with a friendly smile; the huge upside to having a smaller, but well-run theater. From end to end, top to bottom, this place is top-shelf.
Great place to catch a movie! Food, snacks, beers and beverages are available at a fairer price than your average theater. Seating could use an update and screen wasn’t very high definition.
One of my favorite movie theaters in America. Movies are my ultimate escape yet coming Riverwalk Theater is truly an escape to my childhood. Timeless and classic I pray it’ll always look and feel the same
Nice people but uncomfortable seats and the theater isn’t cleaned between shows so we had move old popcorn bags and half empty soda cups. Maybe just not enough staff.
Cute little theater. They offer the usual movie theater fare and some other more hearty food. The food choices are surprising for a theater, and they are good. The employees were very nice.
TAKE EARPLUGS!! The sound is TERRIBLE!! We just saw "Oppenheimer" and the sound effects were deafening. We had our fingers in our ears for three solid hours. This is NOT the first time the A/V tech misjudged and turned up the sound effects and turned down the dialog. Completely ruined the movie experience.
Small older theater with a fun feel. They have a diverse food and drink selection. Old school theater setup and seats. Good sound and digital projection.
Great local theatre with a yummy snack shop. Really good soft serve ice cream.
