Programs and services at Riverzedge include:
Arts & Business Entrepreneurship: Youth run micro-businesses in five art and design studios (SCREENworks, DESIGNworks, DIGITALworks, VISUALart, and GREENdesign), creating public works and client projects while developing marketable workforce skills, completing high school or earning a GED, applying for college, and receiving an educational stipend.
Summer Placemaking Workforce Initiative: Teen artists work with partner organizations to complete large-scale public art, design and community improvement projects.
Expanded Learning Opportunities: Students earn high school credit through independent learning projects completed with professional mentors outside of school hours.
Mobile Studio: Innovative and customizable art and design classes for primarily low-income K-12 schools, adults, business groups, and more.
After Hours: Free evening classes and open help labs for middle and high school students in media, entrepreneurship, and the arts.
Parent Leadership Training Institute: A parent engagement program in which parents learn to advocate for children and develop skills in civics, democracy, and leadership.
