Tonight was the third time I ordered delivery and what I ordered was either missing or not there. The previous two times was an entirely different meal and I was made to drive there to pick up my correct meal myself as opposed to someone delivering to me my correct meal. Tonight an item was missing. I called and asked if they could give me a credit for the item. They say they would have the manager do it. Will they? To be contiuned. The food is "ok" but I agree that even the pick up experience is chaotic and unorganized. I have waited a year now to write this review because I really was hoping things were just waiting to settle down as a new business. But things seem to be the same if not worse. It is so nice to have a local Indian place but having a functional restaurant is more than just making food.
The food was enjoyable. Basic Indian fair along with pizza being served and they offer a variety of beverages... an interesting concept of truck stop meets 7/11 meets crosby... Vegetarian options: Many options Kid-friendliness: It appears to be a convenient store. Like a a truck stop convenience store that has a dining area after you order at the counter. Depending on your kid, definitely not a place to let them walkabout freely as there are many breakable items in the store. Parking: Plenty of parking is available along with a couple of handicap spots Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible. The doors are self open and a bit heavy due to the spring close but manageable Dietary restrictions: They are very accommodating if you have any restrictions.
Good place to pick up a sub pizza or chicken wings. They know also have Indian food but I never did like Indian food. Mostly cuz I don't know what to get.Food: 5/5
The store is clean, spacious & they have THEE best butter chicken in Western New York, says my daughter, my boyfriend & myself.. DELICIOUS MENU!
Delicious Indian food. A tad understaffed and the kids can sometimes get a little loud, but it's a family business. It's worth it for the food.Food: 5/5
My family has been patrons of this place for over 13 years. The staff was always kind and I had grown to know most that worked there. The last 6 months this place has taken a drastic turn for the worse. We ordered food today, and were told a time to pick it up. I got there a few minutes late as I know places are doing their best and to not press them by being early. The woman at the counter sees my order and realizes they didn’t even start it. She then says oh we are backed up and understaffed. There was only one other ticket on the line besides ours. The girl in the back states clear as day, “Oh I forgot to make that order”. Which I don’t say a word about and paid for my order. I waited 10 more minutes, when our pizza finally came out. I went up to the counter and the woman acted like she had no clue who I was. I explained there was supposed to be fries as well, and she called me a liar. I said mam, check the receipt. Sure enough I paid for fries and a 2 Liter as well. She then says to me that I only paid for the pop and owed her for everything else. I explained that the tab I just paid was for $24, and I don’t remember the last time a 2 liter and a 20oz Pepsi cost that, but to kindly get the receipt I just signed 15 minutes ago from the drawer. She did, and realized I was telling the truth. I then had to wait again for the fries, to which she practically Throws at me when they were done. No patron should be treated like this. I stayed as polite as I could for a long while. I know times are hard right now. But this is not how a paying customer should be treated. After 13 years we will not be going back.
We use to order subs and pizza from here all the time. i haven't ordered here since last summer-when did new owners take over? It's dark, dingy and dirty with no one around to greet you like before. The prepared food in the heaters looked days old. Placed my order-and when he told me the total it didn't add up.... "oh oh" My sub was absolutely gross and not how i ordered it. but what i did get will make sure i never go back there. wilted brown lettuce, no cheese, no mayo, very little turkey,. it tasted old. They should probably stop using the old Rixs County Store name, because it's definitely NOT the same.
Terrible. I asked for small pizza WELL DONE. It's doughy and undercooked. The boneless wings, were so small and OVERCOOKED like popcorn chicken. Asked for extra bleu cheese, didnt get it. What a waste of money. The pizza is unedible TBH. It doughy and gross
Combo small pizzeria and mini mart. Lunch special $6.99 slice pizza, 4 wings medium or BBQ and 12 oz soft drink.
Went here for slices of pizza. Owner had a new pie for us since we wanted several slices. Doesn't taste the same as previous owner. I am excited to try the Indian food that is available here now!
