We smoke competition premium meats for up to 20 hours using all local Ohio wood, guaranteeing quality and flavor. We also make all of our side dishes, BBQ/Hot sauces and rubs in our kitchen daily. Which means every aspect of our flavor is authentic and our own. We offer a great lunch & dinner menu every Tuesday through Saturday, but we'd love to cater your next event. Came here the other day right before I left for a TN trip, having been craving some good BBQ, but partial to the true southern recipes, it's not often you'll find that, north of the Mason-Dixon line. Who would have thought I'd find it in my own back yard? Lots of recommendations and it took me awhile to leap, but, holy smokes. I've been to some of the top notch BBQ restaurants in the South, and, Road Hog Willys will match any of them with their food! The decor is nice, inviting, and spacious. I enjoyed the inside, a ton. It was a fair temperature, and not super crowded. Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere, where I could just relax and eat some awesome BBQ. The prices are beyond reasonable, and, you can order for carry out and in larger portions. I figure I'll visit here frequent in the future, for myself, and to show others who are visiting a great BBQ spot. Highly recommend!
Quite literally the best BBQ I've ever had. Every single item on their menu we've tried has been a complete knock out. Absolutely delicious. Do not sleep on this place!
This place is great! Purchased party packs for a birthday party and everyone definitely loved everything! Lots of kudos o. The brisket, corn bake, mac n cheese and the baked beans. I was a big fan of the pork and there were chicken lovers too. So over all a great experience for all. The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I will definitely go back for any other events I may need to host.
This was our first time ordering from Road Hog Willys and we'll definitely be back! The Q-Ban was amazing, my daughter inhaled the Mac n cheese and my husband loved the cornbread sundae. We've lived in Tennessee and Florida where we had staple BBQ spots and we're so happy we found this spot too. We ordered takeout and the ladies working were SO nice. They had run out of ribs at the time we placed our on online order, but offered a variety of great options to replace the rib order we made. Inside was very clean and well organized.
We chose Road Hog Willy’s for our son’s wedding reception. The food was amazing, especially the brisket, probably the best we’ve ever tasted! Presentation and set up was beautiful. Alida helped us arrange everything; communication was great. Natalie was awesome, handling all of the catering setup and serving at the reception. I’d highly recommend Road Hog Willy’s for anyone looking to cater a BBQ meal!
Friendly, accommodating staff. Very clean & most important the Beef brisket melts in your mouth & pulled pork was juicy delicious. Highly recommend! This was our 1st time & we'll definitely be back!
I have been in the business for well over 30 years now and this place ranks in the bottom 4 around the country. I was really hoping this place would get better. Unfortunately, it was the opposite. I've tried this place 3 times over the past 2 years or so. The first time, the food was edible the last time we both took a couple bites and threw the rest away. The brisket was overcooked, had that gritty texture, and tasted like liquid smoke cooked in a convestion oven. The pulled pork had hardly any smoke flavor, was dry and tasted like what you would get buying pre-packaged BBQ at Walmart but dryer. The Mac and cheese was way over cooked and turned to mush. Southern green beans had no flavor. Seriously, someone should teach these folks how to smoke meat. It's a shame, they have a good smoker, just no clue how to properly use it.

Road trip to Mt Vernon to try another BBQ place. Place has only been open for about a month and a half. Tried some pulled pork which had a nice light smoky flavor, portion was huge They have a number of sauces which included the smoke House, mustard, also jalapeno catsup. The smokehouse had a nice sweet taste to it. Mac n cheese had a ton of cheese which was baked. Corned pudding was off the chart good. I hold it up there with City BBQ's. Baked beans were straight out of can. Nothing special at all, kind of disappointing. Greens had a ton of pork in them, they weren't bad at all but could have used either salt or a little vinegar. You get a couple of slices of bread with your meal. Place has only been open for a month and a half. While I was there they were definitely doing the business, pretty much non stop. They have inside and outside seating.
This is a great find for us. This place outshines any chain that we've visited. The food is tasty and plentiful. Prices are reasonable. The gentlemen running it are friendly and efficient. If you like BBQ you should stop in. The wife and I couldn't decide on our meat. They recommended their new sampler. Sold! Sounded like plenty for two. It is enough for three or four. Wow! The son had their kids hit dog and fries and enjoyed it and the corn bake that we shared with him. Total cost was just over $32. The meats are all moist and nicely seasoned. The sides are tasty. The homemade sauces are all good. Dine in is small. Order and pay at the counter. This is a great place to get to-go for a picnic or meal at home. Try it.
