Austin was a great associate. I asked for about 5 different pairs of shoes and we had every size out of the back in a very timely manner. Not pushy at all to buy extra accessories. Will go back to this location when I need new shoes for the gym.
My daughter and I had a great experience at this location. I had to exchange her running shoes due to pain on her hip after running. Because we live 45 minutes away we happened to walk in to this location on the 90th day on a busy Saturday the last day to exchange. They could have easily given us a hard time but the team was so helpful, understanding, and kind. This is what great customer service is all about. Doing what’s best for your customer and always taking care of them. Great job guys way to manage a line, sales, and exchanges on a busy day. Thank you.
Exceptional Shopping Experience - Ask for Kaye! I only had 30 minutes to dash in and get a new pair of inserts 1st pair were finally worn out. Kaye quickly found my record and got to work making a new pair. While those were being made he explained the current selection of shoes that would work best for my exercise style and my gait, and then explained the trade-offs between product material wear vs weight. So interesting! With all his help I was able to make an informed choice in new shoes, get inserts customized to my feet and put into my new shoes and get out the door with a smile in less than 30 minutes. It's cool I learned a little more about how running shoes are made and why. I bought shoes I would not have even know to try without Kaye's help and knowledge. I used them today love them already. Thanks for the exceptional shopping experience! A year later and I’m back for a new pair should not have waited so long. Another great experience even though the store was extremely busy today. Got an amazing deal on the new shoes using my rewards! Thank you Road Runner Carlsbad.
Good service at this store. Not as much selection as the main store on Convoy, but unless you’re needing something less common it’s normally faster and less crowded in Carlsbad with the same awesome service, insoles and advice.
Was here to get insoles made, the process is nice and easy. Will try for a few weeks and see how it works. They had me sign a one year free membership for 10% off today and 90 days guarantee re-make if not working out. I like the personalized shoe insole idea, so I will give it a try for just under $90.
Roadrunner can be crazy busy! Thankfully, I got there at a good time where I was greeted with a friendly face and “checked in.” Kyle was the associate that helped me. He was awesome. Not only did he have a great personality and sense of humor, he knew the shoes. I’ve been going there for 6 years and always get the custom insoles. Totally worth it if you have a regular run routine. The associate that checked me out at the register was also very friendly- can’t remember his name. Thank you Kyle!
Shoes are great. The sales process is fine if you give them permission to take you through all that. But I specifically said I did not want to go through their process to just bring me the three pairs of shoes I picked in my size and let me try them on a feel them for myself. My voice meant nothing. The guy just completely ignored me and took me through the whole process anyway. Said I did not want the insoles… ignored me and made them anyway. Tried to sell me socks and a vip. I patiently waded through because I wanted my shoes, but not being listened to is super aggravating. What could take 10 minutes to almost an hour. Some people want the process, some do not. Wish the sales peeps would respect a persons words.
Austin was amazing! He took care of my mother and I and all of our questions as well as fit us with perfect shoes for what we needed. You guys are lucky to have an associate like him
Salespeople are professional, knowledgeable and I have never gone into Road Runner's without being greeted with a smile and warm welcome by their fabulous staff. They also have an incredible selection of merchandise to satisfy all your needs. Love this place!
We got so late to the store, about to close time. The guy that helped us out was very patient with me while a decided which model of hookas I was going to take. He even offered to order them online. He was knowledgeable about the shoes the carry and great customer service.
