I have been going to Roaring Lion for about 3 years now and can say it's been a pleasure every time. Between the scheduling, pricing, and hair cut quality, there are few out there who will do as well. Anna is a fantastic barber and genuinely cares about the quality of cut she gives to her customers, I would certainly recommend to give Roaring Lion a try.

I have been getting my haircut here for about three years. I really enjoy Anna’s professionalism, kindness, and of course her haircuts! When I first saw her it took 2-3 haircuts for her just to reverse problems from previous haircuts. Since then, she has recommended and executed on a couple different styles of which I enjoyed them all! Anna is immensely experienced and customer focused. I highly recommend this barbershop. Rita has been cutting my hair for years, and it's been a very good experience. Her and Anna are both very friendly, accommodating and great barbers. They honor appointments very well, but also welcome walk-ins.  The salon is cozy and pleasant. Great place - I intend to continue getting my hair cut here for the indefinite future!

I am always leery of 5 star ratings from posters who have only done one review, but after giving Roaring Lion a try for myself I now know why Anna has so many good reviews from posters with no history: she does such an excellent job, people who never post reviews like myself will feel prompted to share such a great experience.  Anna takes a consultative approach to styling and will discuss your goals and offer advice for what works with your hair before making the first cut. She uses a straight razor for shaving, which is very nice, and the chair leans all the way back for neckline trimming. I went in pretty shaggy with an idea of what style I wanted, so Anna took only a bit off at a time to ensure we were heading in the right direction, which was a nice change from cookie cutter shops who buzz now and ask questions later.  Overall very nice experience and highly recommend.

Anna is a terrific barber, who provided exceptional service, she was professional, kind & caring and took the time to do the job right. The atmosphere  was warm and inviting, very clean & tidy--- Thank you for the superb haircut and great conversation. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great haircut.

I was visiting Chicago and was recommended Roaring Lion Barbershop from a friend.  Anna was cutting my hair and really listened to my wants and needs.  She cuts hair very fast with high quality.  As the hair cut went on, Anna told me exactly what she was doing before she persisted. On top of the hair cut, she also shaved my neck.  I would definitely recommend Anna and Roaring Lion Barbershop to anyone that wants a good quality and reasonably priced hair cut.

When Anna first made my haircut, I realized that I finally found my hairstylist. That happened back 15 years ago and since then I never made my haircut anywhere else. When Anna opened this barbershop, her skills and spirit became matched with the spirit of this cozy and elegant interior, transforming each haircut to a pleasant experience. Anna is not just a skilled hairstylist – she has an artistic vision and feels which style would fit her customers’ character. My haircut is done before I know, and it is also a pleasure to speak with this highly intelligent and spiritual person. Anna strictly keeps up to her tight schedule, so there is virtually no waiting time. It takes a phone call or just a text to schedule my visit.

I am so lucky to have found Anna at Roaring Lion. I really wanted a women's undercut with a design and no other barber in my area were capable of doing any design.  Anna's work has been outstanding and she is always ready and  willing to try anything I throw her way.  Her work is high-quality and since she's so busy, she always books the next appt with me at the end of each haircut but has also been so accommodating when I need to reschedule.  So ladies,  if you're looking to try a new style, Anna is up for the challenge!

I have been using Anna as my barber for 15 years! She is absolutely the very best you can find anywhere! She listens to what you need, and want done, and executes the job to perfection. Fast, efficient, detail oriented and professional! Very reasonably priced for the exceptional experience! You will be pleased and satisfied! I guarantee it!

Anna has been cutting my hair for over 15 years, always a great haircut and a great conversation at an affordable price.   Over the years I visited other barbers if I was out of the area and experienced disappointing results and couldn't wait to get back to Anna to fix the damage. Also I love the straight razor and hot towel shave!
