Honestly actually terrible. They skip busses, their busses are early so you miss getting on or late so you miss your transfer. There is no customer service around at all so when you end up stranded at the terminal waiting for the next bus because yours didn't arrive, you can't even ask when the next one will be or why your bus didn't run.
Bus picks me up on time manages to arrive at the terminal late, the bus I'm Running toward pulls away. I walk home and attempt to get the next bus. I'm standing waiting at the bus stop with a sign that clearly states stop in use unless curb closed due to construction. We haven't had construction at this location since Aug and not 1 but 2 bus drivers just now right past me. I know it's a regular spot they stop because they have picked others up. I'd rather pay to rent a car every day. Actually I m going to look into it. At least then I know I'll have a dependable ride.
The terminal isn't cleaned at all. It's disgusting. The bus system itself is unreliable. Busses are often late or early. They don't wait when they're early. Transferring busses can be a risk because the bus you need might have already left by the time you get to the terminal. Sunday schedule is especially unreliable. The weekend schedule in general is messed up. Busses are completely removed from the weekend route. It makes working on the weekend hard. And they ran out of monthly bus passes by the 2nd of the month and didnt get anymore. How do you run out of bus passes?
Busses are constantly breaking down. For busy routes the bus is always at capacity. If they know these routes are busy they should add a second bus. Was forced to wait for the next bus as it was at over capacity. When I was alowed on the bus on the way to my destination they refused to allow on passengers along the way. Absolutely ridiculous. I understand that things happen but this is absolutely unacceptable. People rely on public transportation for access to their jobs and education essential things for quality of life and a running WORKING city transport is essential for this.
The only good thing is some of the drivers are nice. They got rid of the cashier at the termal and replaced it with a machine that ive yet to see work for anyone. Alot of the time the busses are either late or leave too early. I got here on the 5 bus at 7:54, needing the 7 bus so i can get to my classes, and there was no 7 bussesthey have 2 of them for this 1 route here, im assuming it left to early beacuse its 8:15 and its still not here... trusting on the busses here is an easy way to lose a job
Not impressed with the way the bus drivers handle being late , it would have been nice if the bus driver informed us that we would be late and not catching the next bus , so I could let my ex and my daughter know not to bother sitting and waiting at the bus stop for me.! My poor 8yr old daughter is now waiting in this heat on July 25th and IM missing out on time with her ... Not happy at all. I also made a complaint and the woman "supervisor" just looked at me like I was an idiot.. why when I have a 5yr old son to watch, should I also be responsible for asking the bus driver to hold a bus ?? Why didn't he feel as though the people on the bus should know that they weren't going to catch the next bus ?? ...
been taken the bus for 8 years and its slow unpredictable. the drivers for the most part ARE competent. but yes they need better syetem if im gonna pay for services that are late. using bad weather is an ok excuse but not when the weather is just rainy.
If I could rate the service 0 stars I would. Don't ever take a bus from these guys if you have to be on time. Just waited over 20 minutes for the number 4 which was supposed to leave the mall at 9:10 and arrived there at 9:25 which means I get to miss my transfer to the number 7 and I have an appointment at 9:45. This is an absolute joke. Early this year in January I waited over an hour and a half in -25 C for the number four to show up as I saw the number 5 go by 3 times.
Buses to the college are always so full its dangerous, and because they fill up up so quickly you end up having to wait for the next bus, which is anywhere between 30 minutes to an hour later. More buses and better routes are needed for students
Useless service. Busses are never on time. The drivers are very rude and uninformative. Belleville transit is a joke. They don't even have a schedule online, I guess it wouldn't matter if they did nobody would keep to it. A bad joke is what this is.
