Nice little park with beach/swimming areas. When I went, it was fairly shallow and water was super warm. It's August, so I expected that! Was not crowded at all. I would say for the time I was there an hour or so, only saw about a dozen people. 2 sections of beach. Along the road you will see deeper sections of water with more current. Not sure how safe that is, but I did see someone swimming in there. Playground: Cute playground for the little ones Restrooms: Clean and stocked Dog-friendliness: Dogs allowed Picnic area: Several tables available
Nice park! The beach part is small and it's not a beach where I would want to lay out and get some sun like other beaches. It's the type of beach that the kids like to play in, some ocean life to explore a lot of crabs. Water quality is tested weekly. A lot of covered picnic areas equipped with grills, a nice play ground, and a board walk that takes you to a lookout which is neat. On the weekends they have an ice cream truck that sets up homemade. The bathrooms are some of the cleanest I've seen foe a beach. I was surprised enough to mention it in a review. They have a small sand rinse of station.. parking lot is small, so it can be limited on the time you go...but you can park various other places and walk in. It's free to go! Playground: Clean and equipment well maintained.centrally located so you can sit in the picnic area and see the playground. Restrooms: Extremely clean! Picnic area: Covered picnic tables on cement slabs with grills available. Some picnic table options uncovered as well.
We were looking for a waterfront place to eat and maybe walk around, and loved this spot! The beach has a nice shallow area partitioned off for families or those who don't want to get too wet, with easy access to the slightly deeper waters on one side of the beach. The boardwalk isn't too long, but ends in a lovely little shaded area with a stunning water view. We saw families swimming and fishing, there are a couple of roofed structures with seating, and a nice wide sandy beach area. There's a building for a restroom. There was an ice cream truck there, and it looks like some sort of food truck is there regularly.
Lesser known beach, never busy. The texture of the sand is not the most pleasant as it is mixed with dirt but it doesn’t really take away from how pleasant everything else is. The boardwalk is nice and maintained, it’s too bad people still choose to throw trash off the side where it can’t be cleaned or composted. There are adequate trash cans, just so you know. There’s also restrooms & a shower.
This is a little ;park for walking, swimming and fishing. It does have some limitations. Swimming is best done while it is high tide only. At low tide you may be able to walk 50 yards or more out into the water. I prefer to fish along the north side of the causeway before entering the park. I use pinfish for bait and have caught redfish, shark, and stingray. There is a wooden walkway for you to walk and enjoy the view. There are a couple picnic shelters and most times the park is not so crowded so we have been able to find a table to sit at and eat lunch before or after we swim. Like I mentioned, I would only visit this area only during high tide.
This park was perfect for my two year old! Great park, bathrooms, shallow water, and EVERYTHING was handicap accessible! Grills, shower/foot rinse station as well! Just a great spot to hang out! Playground: Handicap accessible and partially shaded! Restrooms: Basic but open to the wind so cool and not smelly Dog-friendliness: Didnt see any signs saying no pets! Picnic area: Lots of shaded picnic areas
Grills and tables available, small beach area on the west side and east side of the park. Children's climbing gym, rest rooms, sometimes an ice cream truck. Beautiful location and well kept. Parking is very limited.
Beautiful hidden little gem of a key. Nice for a cookout or some swimming but there is limited parking . Go during the week. It’s a lot less busy.
Little local park/beach, I love to find this places more private, not a lot of tourists, calm, plenty of shade, tables for eating, bathrooms, playground, the water is clear and not to deep, good for kids, free parking! Amazing hiding place!
This is more a kiddy water beach, not much for adults unless your bbq and lounging as well as dolphins passing by, which was crazy due to them being so close to us!
