My whole family sees Dr. Hogue at Family Medical Home. I’ve always had pleasant experiences with everyone in his clinic! Front office, nurses, PA, and Dr. Hogue himself — they’re all very kind and helpful! And seeing him with my little babies in their first few days totally stole my heart! He’s always been so gentle and kind towards my littles and he cares about them deeply. Highly recommend!

DO NOT GO HERE especially do not bring your children. My two year old was running a 103 fever for two days so I took her up there waited for 2 hours and he didn’t test her for anything and said “could be a virus” her fever finally let up that night so I thought ok I guess it was a little bug two days later my husband and I start throwing up and running high fevers turns out we have Covid. This doctor is super unprofessional literally barely spoke to me.

My mother has been a patient of Dr. Hogue’s for years and absolutely loves him. However, Traci the lady with the unfortunate haircut seems to have the most atrocious attitude. From the way she speaks to her to other patients in the waiting room. My mom recently had a minor procedure done and Traci had the audacity to inform her “ if it comes back malignant the charge will be more.” My mom said “well, I hope not!” Who in their self aware mind tells that to patient? Getting something suspicious removed and then playing the waiting for the results game is stressful enough. Have some tact in regards to patients. I see similar complaints about rude staff but it’s very quite possible that they’re talking about her and not the other lovely ladies.

Dr Hogue has been taking care of my family for 39 years. His nurses and staff have become precious friends. Their caring of patients is obvious!! I never have a hard time getting an appointment and never have a long wait time in the waiting room. Dr Hogue listens to all of my concerns and shows his love for his profession with every visit. Through the years we have developed a true friendship. I would recommend him to anyone. I’m so thankful that he is a Christian man and runs his office in a Christian manner. He makes his patients feel comfortable at all times. I can’t say enough about how I feel about this man and his staff. Amy Hinds

The doctor is really nice…however, he recommends that young EBF babies take fluoride multivitamins. He also does not recommend against very young babies drinking water & recommends that babies wait to take allergenic foods when weaning, both of which are completely against current medical science. Overall, not a pediatrician I can trust. Also, some of the staff are extremely rude.

I’ve been a patient for about 6 years. They usually can get you in the day you call about an issue if. You call in the morning. His 2 PA’s, Ali and Tina are fantastic!!! Very through and compassionate. The staff has always been friendly and I’ve never had an issue with billing or insurance.

I’ve been going to Dr. Hogue for the last 34 yrs of my life. He delivered my last child and she was 33 yrs old in May. He, his nurse and his staff have cared for my family and I on so many levels. I can’t describe the compassion that has been shown to us. Just recently in June we lost our 11 yr old grandson and the tears just don’t stop. They saw me crying in the waiting room and got me to a room and never left me alone. My appointment wasn’t with Dr. Hogue but I really needed to talk with him that day. He came! No questions asked. An uncaring staff...I think not. Unconcerned Doctor...he couldn’t be if he tried. I’ve been through many years of changes in their office. They have jobs AND lives to handle just like us. They are in the business of caring and consideration for others but aren’t we in the same business. Danita McKee

We have used dr houge for the past 4 years since moving to the Brownwood area. His staff is efficient and professional. They have seen us anytime we need to be seen without any time delays. They make sure to do blood work and do not second guess their diagnosis. I have serious asthma that flares up regularly and they always get me in to be seen immediately. I don’t know what else anyone would want from a family doctor and his team of PA’s.

I've been a patient of this clinic for about 4 years now and I just love everyone there, they also have some of the best PA's I've ever seen. I almost had to switch doctors and I was genuinely sad to this piece of information, thankfully I stayed.

Dr. Hogue has been my doctor for years. Takes excellent care of me, and his staff treat me great.
