Stayed for 3 months, decent price. Honestly if you just mind your own business and establish clear boundaries with your neighbors, you’ll love it. More than enough space, pretty quiet. Would love a change machine in the laundry room and a pet waste receptacle in the back near the 400s. But no huge complaints. Great location and friendly staff. Thanks for the stay!
We are full time RVers and stayed here from December 2022 through April 2023. The residents in this community are great!! The staff in the park are amazing people just doing what they are told and the office staff is decent if they can manage to keep people and be open. Read the reviews and believe others when they say the owner is unpredictable and irrational!! We thought surely people were giving bad reviews because they were upset about getting caught or something until we were the victim of his bipolar ways. He came up to my spouse, who was seated, and immediately started saying “I’m an alpha personality and this is how I present myself” he said things like “I hope I’m offending you” and “I’m Ivy League educated”. Because we purchased a truck he did not like, he said our truck, which had been there for 14 hours was “deterring people from wanting to stay at his resort”, he said the truck had a fuel leak because he smelled blaster brand lubricant that we put on the fifth wheel plate, and threatened to throw us out. We offered to park it elsewhere, we had no problem doing so! He was so irrational and erratic it was just bizarre!! We moved the truck and 14 days later someone slipped a violation into our outdoor entertainment area saying we had 0 days to move the truck that had been gone since the day he was freaking out. He plays favorites and makes up rules for those he doesn’t like and drives around in his golf cart all day looking for people breaking his made up rules
Stayed at Robert’s in January 2023 and decided to stay again for January 2024. St Petersburg is a nice place to stay in Florida. Great beaches and restaurants. Robert’s has a lot of scheduled functions and activities. Pickle ball courts, bocce, swimming pool, hot tub and laundromat.
The reviews on this park is very sad from the people who live there… we were thinking about moving into this park; but, after meeting multiple tenants while doing work there we decided against it because all of them speak horribly of the owner and many are trying to sell their property to move out… very sad because this is a great location; but, apparently is run by management with zero social skills according to tenants
The park itself is okay. Extremely noisy as it sits directly off Gandy Blvd. The full time residents are sweet and the office staff is kind but the owner is a horrid human being. He is extremely off colored in his remarks and speaks to people in a very condescending tone especially the seniors he has working for him. They walk around like they are in constant fear of their jobs. The park has many potholes and minimal amenities. There is one pool, one hot tub an old tennis court, clubhouse and outdoor pavilion. The scenery is not great as these seniors seem over worked and under appreciated so they can not keep this place pristine. If you have to come here it's okay for a short visit. Not high priced but not priced according to specs
Beautiful shaded areas to park your RV. Activities, pool pavilion and other games. The girls in the office where very helpful and knowledgeable with all my questions about yearly rental.
I have read enough about the owner to stay the heck away from this Park ! I absolutely will not be buying a home in this park .Thank you for the reviews. There’s no excuse for being rude to others! Doesn’t matter who the heck you are Sir!
We absolutely love this place. The owner and most of the office staff are amazing. We have been here almost a year and have been impressed. Thank you all at Robert's for the work you all do! Being a nurse...I feel like your job is super important also...so thank you guys! UPDATE...been here almost 5 years now..we still love it here. You don't have to walk on eggshells here. The owner is amazing. He's always been accommodating..through storms and power outages. Office staff deals with a bunch of rude people I've been up there and have heard some of the residents. Always been super nice to us. Never had a problem here! Love it!
What I like about Roberts Rv Resort is the wonderful people we’ve met, the Bible study, the golf tournament every month. The location is ideal for anything you could want to buy. You can enjoy the pool or if the beach is your thing, the Gulf of Mexico is 10 miles away or the gulf of Tampa is 3 mi down Gandy Blvd.
The park is very clean and well maintained. The pool, which I use daily, is always crystal clear. The entire pool area is kept clean and has very comfortable lounge chairs. The laundry has many machines and is wiped down daily! The staff is very pleasant and easy to work with. Tons of activities! We are extremely happy here at, Robert’s! This park offers everything we need and then some!
