Beautiful architecture on the water. Stroll around here after dinner or come to the venues. Water fronts are such a draw.
This is a public market/arena and there is plenty of parking. Excellent for watching the St.Mary River and the US border. There is restroom here which is very clean. We went on a Saturday and there were a few farmers selling their produce. Very nice quite place to walk around and enjoy the scenic views.
Beautiful walk along the water. Canada Day fireworks were spectacular. Great setting for them.
A gem on our amazing waterfront. It is a perfect spot for events and concerts and it's where we dropped off some clients to the Miss Marie boat tour today!
Great place to hang out, walk along the water, watch the ships coming and going, celebrate special public events Canada Day and more, and enjoy the sunset. Restrooms: The washrooms are conveniently located at the big tent, behind the beaver tail treats store.
Excellent concert venue, nice people, beautiful city. Watched Blue Rodeo play, great night
We didn't actually seek out this park but it was along the boardwalk in Sault Saint Marie, Ontario. The whole walk along the rivers/locks/lakes was very pleasant. We were in our 26' motor home and found plenty of easy parking on the back side of the mall, right next to the scenic boardwalk. After a long stroll, we drove across the international bridge into Michigan where we took a boat cruise through the SSM locks. Very interesting!
Nice place. Peaceful location. Free parking.
This is a real nice open covered gathering area. I think the city and some organizations use the area for festivities , civic functions etc. There are seats and its covered so you can get out of the sun on hot days when you're on the boardwalk. There also are large , clean washrooms which are handy when walking aound down there. There is an ice cream shop there by the water and occasionally interesting watercraft berth there like the Spanish Galleon. The whole boardwalk thing is a fun way to spend a day wandering around the river front. You can walk from city hall all the way to the locks and the Station Mall is never far away. Makes the washrooms at the pavilion a must. Highly recommend going there especially when the salmon are spawning.
It's a good place to go and watch the sunset. Its peaceful and you can have a nice walk along the docks. Theres also one or two cafes if you want to have a snack.
