The Robin Hood Beach Cottage is a timeless brick beach cottage built in 1941 & has had a whimsical beachy modern twist added to it in December of 2013 for the upcoming 2014 season! You and your family can come enjoy what their family has enjoyed since 1963 when the Robin Hood’s purchased the cottage for their family. The cottage is conveniently located on a corner lot across the street from the ocean and public beach access with ocean views from both upstairs and downstairs.
The newly renovated kitchen, dining and living room are all open to each other with custom cabinets, granite countertop bar with seating for four, new smooth top stainless steel cooktop/oven, new small appliances, pots, pans, ceiling fans, lights, tile floors and beautifully restored original hardwood floors in dining room with seating for 6 more. Newly renovated tile full bath downstairs & upstairs along with new paint in most rooms, new paint outside and carpet in living room and bedrooms. New 32 in flat screen TV’s in all the bedrooms and 40 inch flat screen TV & Xbox (bring your own games) in the living room. Also includes a full size washer and dryer on the first floor. The cottage also includes Wi-Fi, cable TV and Internet phone throughout the entire house.
The cottage is set up perfect for vacationing by yourself, small group or with a large group of your friends & family! The cottage sleeps 10 people and has 2 bedrooms downstairs with a queen bed and 32 in flat screen TV in each room and a sleeper sofa in the living room.
The upstairs has a private entrance right next to the backdoor with a private bedroom that includes a full size bed, a toddler bed and a pack n’ play and a loft style area with a queen bed sitting area with a full bath for both rooms and a 32 in flat screen tv in each room. The Robin Hoods have used the upstairs as a retreat for the older kids or another family that wants to enjoy a little privacy.
The outside offers ample parking for you and your guests, a fenced in area for your small doggie to enjoy, picnic table, charcoal grill, outdoor shower, clothes line and a storage building loaded with all the beach goodies you may need! The goodies include beach wagon, beach chairs, umbrella, buckets, shovels, blankets and boogie boards so you can create memories like the Robin Hoods have done for many years. The cottage also has a covered front porch with rocking chairs to sit, relax and watch the world go by.
The Robin Hood’s have had four generations of family & friends vacationing at the cottage and still enjoy it today. So when you come visit it should feel just like home as it has for their family for the last 50 years. The family has tried to make the cottage as much like home as possible with all the extras you can think of and if we are missing something just let us know and we will be happy to see what we can do to make it happen.
