The Rock County History Center collects, archives and display the stories of the people, places and things of Rock County, Minnesota.
From the collection of thousands of photographs and articles, to memorabilia from Rock County's ten communities and artifacts of early settlers, pioneers and community builders, the Rock County Historical Society preserves the history of our county and the people who developed it. The Rock County History Center, will be located in the heart of downtown Luverne in the Herman Motors Building when acquisition and renovation is complete...in late 2015 or early 2016.
The Rock County Historical Society is dedicated to the preservation and sharing of the history of our people and community. It is no event, person, place or thing that tells the story of Rock County. It is everything - PAST, PRESENT, and FUTURE - that create the rich tapestry of Rock County! History Matters!
