At RSB the opponent is Parkinson’s disease.
RSB classes at Pete White Boxing & MMA Boxing facility, taught by RSB-certified trainers, provide an exercise program that attacks Parkinson's at its vulnerable neurological points. The workouts are designed to improve overall fitness, strength, reaction time, and balance. Participants will practice foot work and ring work; use focus mitts, heavy bags, speed bags, and double-ended bags; and enhance conditioning through rope-jumping, core work, calisthenics and circuit weight training. RSB uses a "tough love" approach to inspire maximum effort in a fun and supportive environment. No boxing experience is necessary, and male and female boxers of all ages are invited to participate.
