I had the best bartender Holly, what a pro and an Angel, and loved the vibes in there. Some friendly strangers at the bar made me feel very welcomed. I wish I lived closer but I’ll still make the trip to go back! Nice to find a place you can count on and feel like they’re happy to have you, and pours good drinks. It’s getting harder to find those these days
Nice bar located in a small mall. Friendly staff, good service. Good choice of beer and a reasonably long menu. Good top shelf choices to. Family owned.Food: 5/5
Never been to Rockabillies before but had been by there so I was looking forward to the visit. Nice place, good food, fun waitress and overall a relaxing and good evening. Really liked the atmosphere and although there was no band but I could see how the right band could really complete the picture. I will say that it is a little smaller inside than I expected but that's not a deal breaker by any means. Nice patio outside but it was at capacity so maybe next time we will eat outside. Really enjoyed it and hope to get back there soon.
Showed up with my classic car on Saturday. Poor showing, went into the bar /restaurant to eat. Sign said seat yourself, so sat at a table in the middle . Clear view of the bar staff. No wait person ever acknowledged me, came over, brought a water or menu, nothing. " 2 drink minimum " what, get them yourself??? Alter 15 mins + waiting walked out. Bartender saw me walk out and said nothing. Won't be back. You need to up your game big time! Rating -10
Always a chill atmosphere, the staff are amazingly friendly, and there's live music every Friday night! A great place to bring your friends to hang out!Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
Food was good, the drinks were good; nothing to complain about, nothing to write home about. The bar tender was great, covering the whole place, including a full bar of obvious regulars. We asked for a drink menu and got a tap list, no cocktails. We looked up some of their cocktails online and ordered one...it was great!! Why it is not on the drink menu is baffling. As we were eating lunch, Jim arrived and started drinking like I was watching Bar Rescue cams; there's a problem not solved.
Showed up at 7, seat yourself. No one acknowledged our table until 7:25. No one took our order until another 15 minutes had passed. Then found out it wasn’t entered into the system. Didn’t even get mediocre burgers and tots until we had been there for over a full hour. Our appetizer came with the food so no luck on trying to get something early to munch on. Overall not worth $15 for a burger and fries based on wait, lack of service and food quality.
Decided to come back to check-out the revamped ROCK-A-BILLIES after, the recently aired 3/5/2023 episode of Bar Rescue that featured this restaurant NOW called ROCK-A-BILLIES Retro Bar. The menu has many options that are very suitable for higher quality bar food. The interior is well done. The rescue didn't include the restrooms tho. The vibe was very old Vegas with great music selection. No to loud. The owner was the first to sorta greet us, little cold with the welcome. I mentioned we had come to check-out the Bar Rescue. No further interaction for the rest of the visit. 2pm free customers in the establishment. Correction: Owner thanks is as we were leaving. The service was good. Friendly staff, and service was in a reasonable time for drinks, and food timing. Once we got the check it took a little while for the server to come back to pick up the to close out. Not a big deal tho. She apologized so that's a easy overlook. I had the Johnny Cash Philly Dip sandwich with great shoestring fries. I would order again. Other guest had the buffalo chicken salad. It was a letter portion sided salad. Decent amount of chicken and tasty. Parking: Parking is limited to a few spaces just for the bar. Plenty of other parking on shipping area!
