Olof Yngvald Pierson was born August 15, 1977 in Santa Monica, California. He spent 2½ years as a boy in central America, specifically Costa Rica & Nicaragua with his father & siblings where they all learned and developed a cultural sensitivity and awareness to politics, survival & independence. Olof earned a bachelor's degree from Fort Hays State University (2000) & earned an apprenticeship & masters degree with world renowned artist, Jim Leedy in Kansas City (2000-01). Olof has exhibited artwork in prestigious shows on the east coast & across the nation while raising a family with Jennifer & continuously taking on creative concepts on both small & large-scale. Olof has ample experience & expertise in all aspects of architecture, alternative design in building, & project management which lends itself well to his multifaceted creative vision.
Jennifer Manning Pierson was born May 31, 1972 in Inglewood, California. She grew up in Fair Grove, Missouri with deep roots in historical, natural, & creative appreciation. She has earned a bachelor's degree in graphic design - College of the Ozarks (1994) with foreign exchange to Holland (1992-93), master's degree in drawing - Central Missouri State University (1998), Master's degree in painting - Fort Hays State University (2000), and K-12 Teacher Certification through the Master's in Teaching program at Missouri State University (2007). Jennifer taught at the university level for 10 years in the mid-west, plains & southern California coast. She also taught 4 years in Fair Grove Schools...all while raising a family & working on artistic endeavors with Olof. Jennifer has exhibited in countless art exhibitions & solo invitationals locally, nationally & abroad.
