Since its organization in 1985, the Rockland County Volunteer Fire Services Museum has provided the public with an in-depth look at the history of the fire service. Featuring artifacts from all 26 of Rockland County's volunteer fire departments, the museum allows visitors to see the fascinating technological advances over the last 150 years. Visitors can travel back in time while looking over hundreds of fire department memorabilia and records on display and can even get a close-up look at antique fire apparatus... minus the horses!
Located at the Rockland County Fire Training Center, the Rockland County Volunteer Fire Services Museum holds tours for schools, camps and other establishments. As always, tours are given by proud volunteers!
