I ordered Hair from Rock Star Hair Extensions off their website and the hair has a really stinky smell. I had selected the unprocessed Indian Hair with their own i-tip for Loc type of extensions. The i-tips are random different sizes, and have hair coming out of the end. Very sloppy work. You can also see finger prints in the Keratin from the person who hand rolled the bonds. I took the hair out of the package to wash the mid shaft to the ends to make sure the hair was good. This is a standard recommendation from all the top Extensions companies when receiving a shipment of new hair. The hair feels amazing but the Rock Star Extension Hair has a foul odor! After shampooing my hands even smelled like the stinky hair. I had to use dish soap to get rid of the smell. Yuck! I sent them a polite email requesting a refund for hair only, as this hair is not suitable to use on a client. I received an email back from Scott Purcell declining my request and saying since I took the hair out of the package and washed it, the warranty is Void. I would not recommend ordering form a company who won't stand behind their product. "We have the remnant of the hair that was used to make your order and it does not have an unusual smell and it is definitely not a foul smell." If their is no problem why not take it back and sell it to one of your clients who finds your hair acceptable. Big waste of over $400 for hair that literally Stinks!
My wife went in to Rockstar in American Fork to purchase extensions in July. They did not have the color or quality extension that she wanted, so they ordered it for her. They promised delivery on a specific date and time date which would allow my wife to make a hair appointment with a professional to have the extensions glued in. As a result of the hair not coming in when promised she missed her appointment. Later the same day, they called and said the hair was now miraculously in. She purchased the hair, which came in a plain plastic sleeve, no model, color, or "Normal" product information, should have been a clue the plastic sleeve was marked with magic marker I don't believe this came from the supplier this way. My wife had to wait a week to get another appointment to install the hair. That was a mere two weeks ago. The hair feels like hay, its coming out in clumps. My wife Knows how to take care of the extensions as she has had extensions for over five years. In those five years she has never had this poor quality of hair. She paid for the highest quality hair that Rockstar offers, yet when she confronted the owner of the American Fork store, about the poor quality, he simply told her it was the luck of the draw whether you get a good batch of hair or not, and there is NOT warranted, nor is there ANY type of guarantee for the hair. It's my opinion that the store couldn't get the hair that she ordered in, and sold her the lesser quality hair which they had in stock thus the plain, magic marker labeled, plastic sleeve Either way, Rockstar in American Fork does not stand behind their products, they sell poor quality products passing them off to the customers as HIGH QUALITY, and charging for high quality., and NO Customer service. I would recommend this place for all ex-wives, and ex-girl friends, with lots of money to flush down the proverbial toilet.
