It was my 1st time here. I moved to Illinois from Connecticut last July. The pool was so warm!!! The water was so clean. Not too crowded. It was well worth the $5.00 fee. I cannot wait to go back!!
The pool in Rockton is an amazing experience. They have a kiddie pool, adult-only swim times, regular public swim times, and even a playground. Try out the concessions, too.
This joint really helped me get over my fear of lifeguards, I can’t say enough good things about the bumper car rides and horseback riding. My horse didn’t want to go through the kiddie pool but I made him and we made it out alive. Anyways, I want to be a lifeguard now that I see what they do because I like the red costumes they wear. Trick or treat…
Friendly, usually not crowded. Peaceful at times.
I had a awful time here, the "Lifeguard" named Kayla wouldn't let me go off the diving board backwards! I asked if I can walk off and she said, "No." 10/10 would not recommend going if she is on duty unless you want your perfect child to get yelled at by a mean girl. But Vito /5 stars, this young gentleman is a legend! 10/10 would recommend going if he is on duty for the swim of your life!
The pool was a great experience the lifeguards were totally rad and good. 10/10 recommend going there.
The atmosphere is relaxed and the lifeguards are friendly and attentive. I appreciate that the lifeguards are not whistle happy. I'm hoping that they take some earnings from their pool fees and put them towards painting and updating the bathrooms and changing areas.
Low rating because as we arrived, the kids working there told us they were closing in 15 minutes because there weren't enough visitors. I've never heard of a pool closing for anything other than bad weather and holidays so we were disappointed since we checked the hours online. They let us go in for 15 minutes with no charge and were friendly, but if it's cloudy be prepared for them to close. I may be wrong, but the impression we got was the teenagers working there closed because they were bored. Would be good to know who made the decision to close and how often it happens.
Nice local pool. Bathrooms need to be updated... no doors on changing stalls. Be careful by baby pool, slippery sections...I like that the area is gated. You can also bring your own cooler...
To expensive for the size of the pool, can drive 10 more mins to beloit and it's way better also this pool hasn't been heated for the last 2 years... lifeguards are super judgmental. Just would rather go to Kruger pool!
