This is the place to go to when studying for finals. They have individual study rooms, and group study rooms too!! The librarians are super helpful and welcoming, definitely would recommend if you need a consistent quiet place to study
This library has been a staple in my life as I grew up in the town. It's absolutely beautiful and is extraordinarily maintained. Yet it has gotten quite noisy over the past few years with employees and patrons seemingly running to and fro. Conversations can be heard throughout-- All in all it's still one of my favorite places to be.
Larger than I would have expected, inside. Nice flowers in their display case and friendly staff and employees. Looks like they offer great programs, too!
Wonderful, friendly staff! I’ve loved this library for the nearly two decades I’ve lived in this town. I would highly recommend you check out your local public library - it might definitely just be a gem.
Very clean and super friendly librarians. Even has a play room for the kids to read and have fun!
I came here often to use them study rooms as I have a major exam coming up... I understand people have to make PHONE calls but to conduct a whole business meetings or run scenes from a play or acting session. PEOPLE ACTUALLY COME HERE TO STUDY!!! Staff please walk back here to remind people to be courteous to the people around you in the study rooms!!!
Pleasant experience. They support the Arts by allowing us to hang our Artwork in the downstairs Gallery.
We love this library for the children’s section and programs. This place uniquely caters well to children of all ages. It’s adorable children’s play area is nice and clean. There is a small space for the kids to have snacks as well. The librarians in the children’s section are wonderful and so kind. And the changing space in the bathroom is always clean. They even have a small child bathroom. While I’ve seen larger libraries, this one is definitely nice. The parking can get a little crazy during busy times. But we always go during off peak times so it’s ok.
Typical Long Island Rudeness. The front desk is nice. It’s the reference desk that has the rude ladies. The security guard is very loud and indiscreet and doesn’t know how to talk to people appropriately. I would not recommend this place, but of course it is a public space. Just be cautious when coming in here.
Very good facility. Some interesting programs as well. Spend much time going back and forth between my own Hewlett-Woodmere Library and RVC. Both well-run with some must attend programs.
