My family and I have camped here every year for the last three years and we have had a wonderful experience every time! The staff is friendly, the amenities are well taken care of and maintained, and the campsite we camp in the primitive section is always ready for us when we arrive! I'm so glad our family friend recommending this campsite to us. I look forward to coming back next year!
I've been coming here annually for over 25 years, one of the best little parks in the state.
Rockville lake was once a good place to be. Lately they are rude and make up rules as they go. I would not recommend this campground to anyone. Fishing sucks to you are lucky to catch any. The caretaker is rude and told us that he did not care if they had our business or not.
Great park for camping they have swimming and nice clean restrooms. The staff are all really nice people who truly care about the campers. We as parents love this place and so do our boy's. Restrooms: Very clean and well kept Dog-friendliness: Yes Picnic area: Yes
They allowed our very late check in and was super accommodating. The lady in the office is sooooo nice. Just make sure you bring extra long hoses and electric cords. Only complaint is there is cigarette butts EVERYWHERE. Our campsite is covered. The beach was covered. No trash though.
Awesome campground! Very clean, nice staff and lots of fun activities like frisbee golf! It's a bargain too at about $30 for a full hookup site! Take the family and get some fresh air!
Been going for years, always clean, friendly and affordable.
Rockville Lake is the only place my family and I will camp at. We've tried other camping spots but none of them are as wonderful as Rockville! The people here are always so happy and pleasant, they keep things as clean as they can, the swimming area is spacious and they have a pier that is super fun to jump off of! My family and I always see so much wild life when we come here, it's always so exciting for our kids. They also have many fishing areas and boat rentals so you can fish on the lake. They don't have a little general store inside the park like other camping areas do, but there are stores conveniently located just outside the park, only about 4-6 minutes away. We are definitely loyal to Rockville lake for a reason! It's a GREAT place to camp, and so beautiful!! I have a few photos, but I always have so much fun that I forget to take them!
Big beautiful lake and tons of places to go camping at. It has a small beach which would be awesome in the summer time. It has a big disc golf course that spans into the woods. However the nature trails aren't very big so I wouldn't go there just to hike. Great place to go fishing. It has a big dock you can walk out on also.
Wifes 1st time camping. These campgrounds are well maintained. Shower, toilets, water, electric. Very cozy and quiet. The dogs first time camping too. It was terrific!
