I went with my elderly mother to pick out a stone for herself. She wanted to know we had something pleasant to visit and remember her by. Kris was very kind and patient with her until she was satisfied with her design and kept us updated as waited for production. I also found out he recently took ownership and I’m happy to support a local small business.

I wanted to leave no stars, but this review would not let me. My mother passed away Nov 2022, I called Rockville Monument a week after her funeral to have the date she passed engraved, they told me paper work would be sent in April 2023.  Early May I realized I had not received and gave them a call, I was then told I would get in June, they were behind due to weather. Early July, I called and nobody answered and I left a message, no call back, end of July called, no answer, left message and again, no call back. As I leave this post middle of September, I still have not received a call back or paperwork, nor do I expect to. Rockville Monument is in the business of dealing with people that are grieving and we should not have chase them down to have engraving done. They are not the only business that does this type of work in the area and I did reach out to another local company in Enfield. I am happy to say my moms date is now engraved and the whole process took less than a month.

Rockville Monuments is willing to go the extra mile, quite literally. Kris helped me to figure out the steps required for purchasing a monument for a cemetery in another state and he was kind and understanding about our situation. Appreciate having this as a place we know we can rely on when we're faced with what will always be a difficult task during a difficult time.

DO NOT under any circumstances use this company. My father passed away in January. My mother through her grief has been trying for the past 6 months to get the date of his passing engraved on their headstone. First told that they were backlogged but they had the contract and her check. Then, the contract and the check were missing. Then the owner told my Mother that she would look into it and keep her informed on a regular basis on the progress. And now here we sit- still nothing done 9 months after his passing, they will not acknowledge messages , and you can’t actually call them and leave a message because their mailbox is full. Disgusting way to treat a 78 year old widow who is merely trying to get them to actually do the job she paid for. You should be ashamed of yourselves. A flipping response to the numerous messages she has left you would at least make it look like you actually care.

Requested engraving on family monument in 2020. Was given a price just over $500. Was told there would be a wait and shown spacing and such. Almost a year later it wasn't done, I called was told there wasn't room for it!! Called other engravers who looked and said there IS room but wanted twice the money. Looks to me like Rockville just doesn't want to honor the quoted price!! Crooks! Will never use them again.

I recommend this business. Ordered one memorial. Shopped around a bit and found Rockville Monuments was very professional and laid out all my options very clearly, and was satisfied with the price.

Such a pleasure to work with in such a difficult time for my family and I. Highly recommend.

I ordered 4 granite memorial stones.  Each stone was unique and the engraving was perfect.  The work was done in a timely manner, and the price was lower than all of the rest of the quotes I got.  The stones look beautiful.

I traveled extra miles from Massachusetts just to go to Rockville Monument the work was exquisite the staff was very professional and they and helpful and we love our Monument made for our family member.

After a misunderstanding on what I wanted,  they duplicated the stone, design and engravings perfectly. This was handled quicky and professionally.  Highly recommended.
