Rockwell Hall Gym Little Creek Base

This Gym has plenty of amenities! You can workout in just about every fashion here. The only complaint I have is that the weight lifting area has a very unpleasent smell that does not seem to go away. Other then that, great gym!

Great gym. It has everything you need or want to workout including CrossFit and boxing. Great weight room and cardio machines are plentiful

Plenty to do depending on what you feel like. Nice outdoor area and track adjacent.

The gym is really nice. The basketball courts aren't that well.

Hours are weird. Setup isn’t great for those into functional fitness, go to pier instead, but those hours are worse.

Great gym, I just don’t understand why they still close from 1300-1400 for cleaning. Showed up at 1315 and forgot they close… only issue is that I was hyped up on pre-workout and thus cutting into my free time as I had other stuff to do that day too. Stop closing for cleaning, other gyms don’t do this.

One of the best gyms in Virginia Beach. A little dated but offers a lot!

Definitely one of the best and most equipped base gyms. I especially like they allow monthly locker rentals and clean towels during the pandemic as well. It’s a blessing for active duty, their dependents, retired military personnel and Veterans with 100% disability. They offer an outdoor pool during warm months as well. Physical fitness classes offered as well.

I've had it with this gym. They have a good variety of equipment but the staff is why I'm leaving this review. I have zero desire to be talked down to for the most minor things like sweating too much on a machine. Some machines have been inoperable since I've been here over a year. Regardless, poorest staff I've had the displeasure of dealing with in my career.

Closes in the middle of the day for "deep cleaning" but always gross. How?
