A true Provo landmark, my wife's family has been coming here for generations. We tried it out for my first time and loved it. If you go in with the thought that it's cheap diner food, that's exactly what you're going to get. The fries and onion rings were perfect, the burgers were fresh, and the shakes were rich, creamy and easily shared between 2 people. It's a very relaxed place to eat a meal with friends after a night on center street. The staff were so kind and human, so we'll be sure to return!
I tried this place for the first time today and I was pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I got their double burger with bacon and some English chips. Both were very good. The cashier guy was very nice. I'll be coming back regularly. And they just got a new menu item: cheese fries!!! Their cheese fries are awesome!!! I'm so glad they added this to their menu because there are not a lot of good places to get cheese fries in Provo. I wish the BYU Creamery would add cheese fries to their menu.
Affordable and ok food. You will have a long wait. The portion sizes aren't very big. Smallest burger patty I have ever seen.
First time and it was so delicious! Staff was friendly and the place has a cozy local vibe. Will be back for more english chips and scones
Really cute place! The burger was super cheap! Less than two dollars and the size of any other fast food burger. The shakes we're really tasty and big! I had to put the rest of my small shake in the freezer because I couldn't finish it. I'll definitely go back!
Grew up going here. So happy it's still here. Pretty much the last classic old time burger joint in the county. Love their shakes. The scones are the best around and their ranch burger is my favorite form here. Great staff as well. Most young kids but they can make food just great! And the owner is very nice and will go out of his way to make sure you're happy.
Been coming here for years! Love this place, for cheap good food. Unfortunately they have cut back on the amount/size of the shakes probably for the customer and the Drive-in is unreal. It must have taken me 15 minutes last time I went. Food is still delicious and I intend on going back, hopefully to change it to a 5 star. Recommendations: Fries, Scones, Burgers
Their shakes are pretty good and in general the food is decent for what you'd expect at an old drive through kind of facility. I really like that they have scones. The people here are kind and genuine. However, this place is always dirty. I have never come in to find a clean table. Also, their sandwiches are fairly bland and a bit greesy. I really want to love this place because of its mom and pop kind of feel and nice workers, but it never quite meets my expectations unfortunately.
Only had a milkshake and tater tots. They were good, but nothing amazing. Shake texture/consistency was great and base vanilla flavor was good, but I ordered strawberry and it was lacking just a bit for flavor there. Old but well kept interior.
I have to start off by saying this place is amazing. They have some of the best fries around. They have a drink that is really hard to come by called Iron Port. It's my favorite original drink and they have it. Their Fish and chips are good too. I also love their shakes. It does take a few minutes to get your order but it's fresh and always good. I would recommend people try this place.
