Members can access the facility to train or fly 24/7, 365 days a year.
The Rocky Mountain Flight Training Center (RMFTC) is a FAA Part 141 flight and ground School. Located at Peterson Air Force Base (adjoining the Colorado Springs Municipal Airport, Colorado Springs, CO), it is part of the 21st Space Wing’s Mission Support Group and is operated for the benefit of its members.
The Rocky Mountain Flight Training Center is a United States Air Force Aero Club serving the greater Colorado Springs community. Membership is open to active duty, active reserve, National Guard, and retired military personnel. Dependents of military personnel, base contractors, and Civil Air Patrol members are also welcome to join.
