Pro-bono legal services to victims of violent crime.
The purpose of the Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center is the litigation and enforcement of violent crime victims' rights by providing direct, pro-bono legal representation for victims seeking to enforce their rights under the Colorado and Federal Crime Victims' Rights Acts. Our legal skill and experience spans violent criminal cases including homicide, sexual assault, child molestation, assault, robbery, menacing, stalking, and domestic violence.
The Rocky Mountain Victim Law Center is committed to represent crime victims in criminal cases; to identify issues that pose challenges to the provision of state and federal rights to crime victims; and to assure the ongoing review and assessment of system successes and barriers to state and federal victims rights. We strive for every victim represented to fully understand their rights at each stage of the criminal justice process and to be able to meaningfully exercise those rights.
