Rodis Sunset Liquors

A neighborhood liquor store with a great neighborhood feel. Rodis' Sunset Liquors has a HUGE selection of liquors, beers, wines and other types of beverages. Very reasonable prices and fast friendly service. One young clerk there named Kosta I hope i spelled it right always greets me with a warm smile and a friendly hello. When he sees me coming through the door he remembers what I want and has it ready at the register for me. You just can"t beat the service. So if you need a quick 6 after work or you're shopping for a large gathering this is THE place to go in Waukegan. They are located just off the corner of N. Lewis and Sunset Ave.

I go there enough, if Buddy would let me, I'd buy stock in his store, LOL. They've got everything in this small building that you can imagine, and probably some things you couldn't imagine, if you need your liquor, if you have a thirst that you need to quench, this is the place to go. Buddy, who happens to be the owner, is a fantastic connoisseur and purveyor of fine spirits in his establishment. They always take care of their regular customers, I can't recommend this particular store passionately enough. Head on over there, let Buddy help you scratch that itch and quench that thirst!!!!!

Great prices for both liquor and cigarettes. The staff are extremely welcoming and very friendly. Nowhere I'd rather go for cigs. Floors are kinda rough but still gives off a welcoming atmosphere.

Safe place and always stocked well. They have plenty of friendly staff which are mostly family to help when you need it. Ask if you need help finding something. Decent craft beer section. I like perusing the new craft beer section. They keep some of the craft beer in the cooler and they seem to keep a good rotation through the cold section. They're old school and have suckers for the kids which is so kind and welcoming.

Average prices, large selection of beverages. Small parking lot, but easy to get in and out. Not a great neighborhood so lock your doors.

I don’t often write reviews, but I can’t help but notice that every time I come into this store, I’m helped immediately, questions are always asked for my personal liquor needs, and they ALWAYS have in stock what I’m looking for. I buy for myself of course but I also purchase lots of product for my business events - and Rodis Liquors comes through every time no doubt about it. Also shout out to the young man Kosta! Very knowledgeable and on top of the place. Highly recommend for your needs

It's a family owned business and they have a large variety Owners and staff are Super friendly and very helpful... my family and I have been going there for our liquor needs for Years!!!!

Very good selection for a smaller store. They are very polite and helpful, very knowledgeable about the products, and have very competitive prices. I will always shop here first when in the area.
