TRAINING
Our training is conducted in-house with two certified Level I Fire Instructors in the Commonwealth of KY. One of which is Internationally Accredited as an International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) Level I Fire Instructor.
Firefighters also have the opportunity to attend several regional fire schools throughout the region and state and they also have the opportunity to attend State Fire School in Lexington, KY each June.
The KY Fire Commission State-Fire Rescue Training Area 11 office also offers 20 hours of training per year free of charge to the department. Most of this training are those classes that are Fire Commission required courses that our in-house instructors cannot teach.
