Rohr Park is a nice walking or running trail to take when you don't want to travel far. It's 3.1 miles, but you can always choose to walk it more than once. There are peak hours..typically around 8-9am on weekends. I try to go at 7ish or even the afternoons. Today, the wind was perfect. Weekday afternoon. It is kid/pet/family friendly. Basketball courts, softball areas, picnic tables, and a new workout zone. Train for little ones..look up the website for hours and reservations for gatherings. Horses and even dirt bike areas are here. Not to mention the golf course. Dog park areas and duck feedings as you walk by. Playground: Two fo them Restrooms: Two areas Dog-friendliness: Yes, with leashes Picnic area: Plenty, may need to rent at times.
It's definitely huuuge! Lots of places to do all sorts of activities. There is a dog park with two sides. There are baseball fields. Lots of room to play soccer or football, Basketball courts, exercise area. Plenty of picnic tables some with gazebos. Tons of trees to provide shade. Parking could be a little annoying on weekends, the only downside. Bathrooms, pretty clean, and water fountains are also provided.
This is such an eccentric Park but has so much to offer for everyone! Our family went for a three to four mile run around the entire park and then stopped to enjoy the playground with our little girls. They had a blast! We love the open green areas and have even availed ourselves of the dog park in the past. It's neat to see people riding around on little steam engines over the railroad tracks that have been built into the park.
Great walking path about 2.5 miles around the park and golf course. Some sections of the path are not paved...we visited after a rain storm and some areas were muddy. At the main park entrance/parking lot, there's a nice fenced dog park. There's also a play ground and restrooms. This is a great park...I highly recommend it!
Peaceful and perfect place for our get together. Shaded Ramada with trees and close to the restroom. Plenty of parking. Clean and handicap friendly. Restrooms: Clean and convenient Picnic area: Clean and plentiful.
Huge park, variety of kids playgrounds, walking paths, dog park. Lots of lawn areas snd picnic tables, BBQs, large trees as well as open areas, sun and shade.
Great place to bring your kids. There's a trail/walk that I did. There's also built in exercising area. Playground: Nice large playground Restrooms: Restrooms clean Dog-friendliness: Dog park
Great park! Clean, safe, plenty of parking and offers various play grounds for the kids, work out areas & basketball courts, baseball fields, open areas for you to set up a volleyball net or have a picnic or gathering. Dog friendly and has dedicated areas for them to play off leash. There is a full path that circles the park for 3+ miles to walk, run, or bike ride, and you can sometimes see people riding their horses and most definitely walking their dogs. There are tables and gazebos available to reserve for parties and 2 restrooms nearby. Playground: Newly redone! The kids can play for hours on the climbing structures, zipline, and swings. Restrooms: 2 restrooms that are usually clean and have toilet paper. Dog-friendliness: Safe place to bring the fur babies with a path, open field, fenced in dog area and water stations. Picnic area: Lots of space to bring your own tables, chairs, and tents or can reserve a table or gazebo.
The park's nice to spend with family, with the exception of park-ranger attitude towards very small family gathering. This family has been attending this park for over 30 years and adhere to rules park. This park ranger for whatever reason, decided to harass at 4different times, seemed he wanted to find an issue to have us leave the park....well, to his dismay, he couldn't find anything wrong every time he showed up.
Great park, great views and awesome playgrounds. Perfect for running or parties.
