An unimaginable experience for our family. My Dad only lived at "the Ranches" for 12 days before passing away. He was found by a staff member. The soonest we could get to his apartment was the next day and we found his door unlocked with his money clip and Veteran's Card missing. The door to his patio had been opened and there were flies everywhere. Needless to say both instances were heartbreaking. I was told the incident has been reported to the Corporate Office, however, we never were contacted. Promises were not kept for reimbursement of his taxi expenses nor a refund for partial rent. Never would I recommend this facility for a loved one.
The place was very nice and clean. It was decorated for chooses and they were getting ready to decorate for the new year. One of the residents was playing the piano and was very entertaining and even had the lunch crowd singing and clapping along. It was fun. My grandma really likes it here
Rolling Hills Ranch is the best Independent Living in all of Omaha. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for care on behalf of their loved one. The team of professionals is very courteous. They truly care about their team and residents. Angie and JD are awesome at what they do.
I agree with the previous review. My Dad was at Rolling Hills for just a few months, and the management is not very helpful at all. The meals also are substandard for what you pay. I talked to several residents and they were not happy with just two choices a day or less. The place is pretty and well maintained but the value for your dollar is not good. I would not recommend placing any relative at the location. Also read the fine print when you decide to leave, unless your notice is on the first of the month they will charge you for that month and the next month as well. Good luck.
Reserved a spot for a few days. The room wasn't ready. They had to add furniture. Had problems with the air conditioner. The new flooring was great! Get a plus + for that!
My husband's grandmother lived at Rolling Hills until she passed away. She raved about the food choices. You could even order certain things if you didn't like those choices. Soup was available all day. The monthly price for food, apartment, entertainment, and cleaning was very affordable. I did have a concern that there is only 1 elevator. In case of emergency that would not be enough. I would also like the building to be smoke free. When you walk down the halls you can smell it. Not to mention it increases the risk of fire.
Rolling Hills Ranch is the most caring place for their residents in Omaha. J.D. their marketer is the kindest and most caring person. Angie their administrator is also very kind. They go above and beyond for the residents that live at their independent living community.
My Aunt moved into Rollinghills. Nice, clean, friendly staff. Activities for the residents, 3 meals provided daily. Assistance with bathing.
Moving a loved one during the pandemic is definitely hard, but JD is willing to make it easy for all of us. I forgot all my questions on the tour and she was happy to answer more questions the next day.
Very nice facility. The residents seem happy. It's clean and well kept. It's an independent living quarters for the elderly. The managment is friendly and helpful.
