Those lemon pepper wings were top notch. They were the best I've ever had. The outside had a nice crunch to them and the inside was moist. The lemon pepper seasoning was just right. Other people need to take notes from you on how to cook wings! I'll definitely stop jn again next time I'm in town. Our sever was attentive and friendly. Keep up the great work!
When we visited Natchez, we went to this restaurant because of the good reviews. And it was worth it!! Very good food in a nice atmosphere. We both took the catfish. Extremely tasty. Our server Dana was great: friendly, funny and always smiling. We would love to come back to eat here again.Food: 5/5
Food was absolutely delicious. We had ribs and wings. The wings were unbelievably big and great and the ribs were the best we ever had. The sides were awesome red beans, barbecue beans and candied yams. We all took home enough for another great meal. Ask for Dena she gave us great service.Food: 5/5
Absolutely delicious food and drinks!! I enjoyed both appetizer rolls but my fav was the Rolling River ! Wings were cooked to perfection, fried broccolis had a good kick to them and my shrimp meal was flavorful & . I loved the variety of the menu & that there’s something for everyone. Even if it’s just grabbing a glass of & listening to their music which was a vibe! Definitely a must visit when in Natchez!
The service was outstanding but the food was on another level! I had the hamburger steak and mustard greens. Everything was seasoned to perfection. The mustard greens were the BEST I’ve ever had. Henson was very nice and welcoming. When you go to Rolling River you are treated like family. Best dining experience in Natchez! I highly recommend this establishment. Don’t miss out!!
4/23/22 came here for the first time after the Natchez European Car Show Glad to support a Black Established Business The waitresses were very nice. Skip the Ribs. They were not tender--it appeared to be some meat that was probably rewarmed from already being overcooked previously-- The sides of greens and potato salad were winners. Cornbread was too crumbly. Be careful of the specialty lemonade drinks. If you are not already Diabetic...you will be after consuming one of these! It would be best if you asked for an additional glass of water half-filled and make your own diluted mixture. Food comes out VERY FAST! Again...this can be a plus or minus depending on what you're ordering. No one is in any rush to check you out. If you need to leave--it would probably be best that you walk up to the bar. Enjoy! The other reviews and photos were what brought us here. Too bad the food wasn't as good for us as it was for the other patrons.
The food and cooks are amazing, however the arrogance, entitlement, and condescension of our server Henson made it very hard to enjoy our meal. He belittled his coworkers and was very rude about serving our table. He would brush us off until he felt like doing what was needed for his table. I myself have been a server so I know the difficulties, however we were 1 of 2 tables in the restaurant and we arrived first. I have been here before and I truly loved the service, however he is very rude and if he is my only option for service I will not be visiting anymore.
Stopped off in downtown Natchez on our way to Ruston for dinner and found this gem. It was a quaint restaurant with the best home cooked southern food. I got the most tender pepper steak with rice and gravy cooked to perfection with the tastiest greens. My wife ordered a fried catfish poboy that she said was the best she ever had. The price was just right for the quality and amount of food that was served. Dina our waitress was super nice and gave us great service. So many choices on the menu that I wanted to try so we will definitely stop in again next time we are in the area.
one word: EXCEPTIONAL! I'm in town for a conference and was looking for something local to eat. by chance I came across this restaurant on facebook. it's about a half mile from the convention center so very convenient if you're staying down town. Service was superb! I was greeted immediately upon entering and I sat at the bar. if you're looking for fancy wine and spirits you won't find it here however the patron margarita I had was made just right. now to the food; I ordered the sampler. it came with 2 whole wings, 2 sliders, 2 egg rolls, french fries and fried pickles or broccoli. when I tell you the food was not only hot and fresh...it tasted AMAZING!! I mean everything on the plate is worth getting a whole meal. I encourage anyone to please visit this jewel in downtown natchez , you won't regret it!
Our group has stopped here 2 years in a row on the way to Monroe LA. It has become an important part of our trip. Downtown Natchez is beautiful and historical. This beautiful restaurant, located in a historic building in downtown Natchez is an excellent addition. The entire staff here is so warm and friendly. We have a large group so we order ahead of time. And the food does not disappoint. . This past week we had smothered pork chops, chicken wings, mixed vegetables, green beans, and tossed salad, rolls and cornbread, Mac and cheese, rice and gravy, BBQ ribs yum many other dishes. We have some with dietary restrictions but there are always dishes that accommodate. If you leave RRR hungry, it's your own fault. And the deserts!!! The desserts were incredible. We had red velvet, carrot and chocolate cake. And warm peach cobbler. Even the unsweet tea was the best I have ever drank. The entire staff is so friendly. The architecture of the older building is artwork in itself. We look forward to making this stop for our annual trip and we'll come back other times as well. Dietary restrictions: Many do a Keto diet. The grilled pork chops and chicken wings are perfect options. While the cobbler is not Keto friendly, who cares. Try it anyway. It's worth breaking your diet for.
