Dining service is hit and miss at this place. We had a awful time the last time we were here for dinner a month ago and it ruined out night. We waited 45 minutes and had to ask what was going on when other people came after us were seated before us. The girl that wrote down our name some how had crossed it off and told us she had already called our name. That did not happen as we were sitting 4 feet away on the bench waiting the whole time. She never apologized. We were then seated in what appeared to be no man's land because there were five servers in the area and none of them stopped by our table. We finally flagged down a manager to tell her we had been seated for ten minutes with no service. Afterwards, one server after another came to our table asking is if we had been helped. The whole experience frustrated me and just put a bad taste to my dinner. Again, to be fair, obviously it doesn't always happen like this, but one bad experience can alter a person's opinion and habit. Considering that i already didn't care for the food here, i don't think I'll be back for dining. On the bright side, the $5 pizza and $4 loaded fries during happy hours are good deals here. So I'll be back to the bar for happy hour. 7/3/2019 -- updated to add happy hour food pictures
Service on a Sunday night was on point even with a full restaurant. Yummy hot rosemary bread is a favorite and the cozy atmosphere makes for comfortable dining. Oh and the servers are great at writing their name upside down with crayon on your table for introductions.
Food was really good. Mussels in the dish were very tasty! Tiramisu was a great end to dinner. Service was okay, but server needs to work on his social skills. Insulted my dinner guest's choice of entree, didn't bring his espresso ordered and didn't ask if it was one check or two.
I wasn’t expecting much since this place is a chain but the lobster ravioli was surprisingly very good. Our waiter was very friendly and the overall customer experience was great. Went in around lunch time on Saturday and it wasn’t all that busy.
Romano's is the best. I've made it a tradition to go there for my birthday for the last couple of years and for many more years to come
First off, when we walked in there was no hostess, so it was a bit awkward before we were seated. After, the waitress was really trying to accommodate our group, but the food was so incredibly bland. Our "signature" Mac and Cheese bites were completely tasteless I kept thinking about how amazing The Cheesecake Factory's are in comparison. Our bread was hard and dry. Our Eggs Benedict had no sauce which is apparently the standard before the new menu comes out. Our meatballs were cold. It was just a mess. The manager, Cody, seemed nice about it, however, and took care of the entire bill. Honestly, just because of his understanding, I am giving a three star review. He said they were working on the kitchen issue, so I would love to come back and try it again when it is resolved. Overall, not-so-good food, but excellent service.
Went for my birthday. We were there at 4:00 so not crowded. Took 30 minutes to get water, drinks another 10 after that. Our waiter forgot apparently that we hadn't ordered we had to flag him down, he kept disappearing. There were only 4 tables of 4 people each and three wait staff for these tables. We got our order before the kids and that was 15 minutes after ours.. And it was just cheese pizza!!!! Worst experience I've had. Once we all had the food, it was good but the experience was so bad not sure how I feel about going back. They knew they did a horrible job they have us half off our bill... Thinking it should have all been free expert for the drinks of course. Ruined my birthday.
Kids love drawing on the table. The peach iced tea was refreshing. 5 bucks extra will get you 4 medium sized shrimp added to your very minimal ceasar salad. The manager was nice, and our server was kind and polite. I ordered lobster bisque and got tomato soup at first, but they fixed it and didn't even charge me for it though I would have gladly paid. The bisque was much too salty for my taste, but the kiddos loved their spaghetti and it was a pretty inexpensive dinner.
Kitchen had minimal people and a high volume of customers, causing this experience to be very long. We arrived and the server was great at customer service. It took us about 15 minutes to get the bread. Drinks took about 15 minutes as well. We ordered for happy hour and got appetizers. When our order arrived it was missing 3 items. We told the server and he placed the order in the back. We waited about 30 minutes until he had come back with only 2 of the appetizers and we asked about the 3rd. He left to ask the kitchen and didnt tell us that the item we ordered was out until 40 minutes later! At this point we had seen several other orders with this item come out so this was quite aggravating. The server insisted on giving us a take home appetizer on the house. When the check came, the server told us that our entire order would me completely paid for by the restaurant and apologized profusely. Overall, this was a happy hour with my husband and mother in-law so the amount of time we waited wasn't overly concerning but was a bit excessive. Without us even complaining, the server was happy to pay for our meal and because of this customer service I am giving 3 stars.
We were told there was a 20 min wait.. 12 open Tables 2 empty booths. Every time we have come here nothing has been right. The staff has a horrible attitude.
