Romero Funeral Home and Funeral Director and Pastor Edward was amazing to work with. I was researching funeral homes for my Grandfathers passing and he provided us the information we needed to make sure everything was taken care of. Once my Grandfather passed away, Romero funeral home arranged for transport to and from the funeral home, along with services at the church and at the burial site. Edward and the team were very professional and understanding during this difficult time and I would highly recommend their services. Thank you so much!
Pastor Edward and his staff were incredible. I believe the other man that was super helpful was Nick. As a veteran he helped lead the military honors for my brother and i couldn’t be more thankful for that. They made the hardest day of my life go smooth enough that i could focus on taking care of my mom and rest of my family. If you’re going to trust anybody with your family members, this is the location and people. I flew from GA to be home for my brother and these fine people made sure the services could get done quickly enough that my leave didnt need to be extended. But done so professionally you wouldn’t know it had to be rushed. Thank you again everyone at Romero. Sending all the love i can and will be recommending you for anyone i know in the Denver Metro Area going through such a hard time.
Nothing is easy when a love one passes away. But Edward Jarmillo sure made everything easier for us. His words at our grandmother's services were just what we needed to hear in that moment. It waa such a pleasure working with him. He is very respectful and has a lot of patience. He made sure all our needs were met. I am very glad we decided to chose Romero Funeral Home. They truly care about their clients and their needs.
Edward Jaramillo did an excellent job, was very understanding and kind on this extremely hard time for our family. He made sure everything was done correctly so the body could be transported to Mexico with out any issues. Everything was perfect from the viewing to the transportation, we will forever be grateful to Mr.Jaramillo for his kindness towards our family.
DON’T TRUST THEM. This is how my father arrived, spilling out all over my tables I was lied to and told I would get a certain portion of my father’s remains and this is how it arrived. When I called weeks prior and asked to clarify the amount as I needed minimum 1 cup to carry out his wish to be made into a diamond the man was rude, disrespectful and just said I would get an undefined amount. Then it arrives spilled all over, not even sealed. That Ziploc bag doesn’t even have a rip it just wasn’t sealed. The brown box wasn’t properly closed, one corner was up and not snapped down, so I opened the usps box and his remains went flying everywhere and all over me and my table. I am completely devastated and heart broken. No loved one should ever be handled this carelessly. Especially by a place whose sole job is to handle our loved ones with the dignity and respect the deserve. I’m furious and there’s nothing that can be done. I can’t even carry out his final wishes now because what I got amounted to a 1/4 cup and my heart is in pieces. UPDATE: I was contacted by a woman after hours one evening apologizing for my experience and offering me a candle or blanket as an apology, said she’s call back the next day- and never heard back. More inconsistencies. And no- the shipping box wasn’t damaged in shipping, my sister also received her ziplock bag open and box not fully closed.
I wanted to thank director Edward Jaramillo for helping my family and I in such a sad time. He made the process very easy and answered all of our questions that we had. I recommend Romero Family Funeral home very caring and compassionate.

Romero did an excellent and compassionate job helping us to plan our final farewell for a very unexpected death. They helped provide us with options that were cost effective but allowed us to plan the perfect service. Pastor Jaramillo was compassionate and kind. My only issue is I wish we had more communication between the planning date and the service date. Things went perfectly but it would have been nice to be apprised of the process. Some may not want to be bothered with the minor details but I would have appreciated it. Not a complaint, just an observation. Thank you for all you do in one of the most difficult times in people lives.
