Ron's Barber Shop

Great barbershop right in town, open early 7:30am for morning people. Great, attentive men’s haircuts from Jenny for a reasonable price $17 for standard cuts, plus tips because they really deserve it here! Everyone is very friendly, the haircuts are done very well and quickly. Reservations weren’t required when I went Saturday morning, but I saw signs that suggested it for Friday’s.

I moved to Cumberland, RI a couple of months ago and was in need of a new barber. I decided to give Ron’s Barber Stylist Shop a try and I am very glad that I did. Tara, one of the stylist that has been cutting my hair is phenomenal! I can honestly say that I have never had a better, more consistent stylist than Tara. I am sure the other staff are great too.

The lady at the barber shop brought me to the pictures for examples of what I wanted and I chose which ones I preferred for my haircut. Not short, but not hanging down my face either and she went way off and cut the top way shorter than I asked for and the sides way shorter than I asked for. I even gave her instructions of what I wanted. She must’ve ignored me. She wasn’t even the nicest person in the world. The only reason I didn’t complain about the service there in the shop, is because I didn’t want to be a jerk and cause a scene. But, overall this is one of the worst experiences I have ever had getting a haircut. Hi Jen, I appreciate you willing to fix my haircut but it’s not really fixable, it’s too short to do anything with. I’m pretty sure the women’s name was Anne. I’m not trying to cause this women or this business any trouble. I just don’t want this to happen to anyone else. Thank you for receiving my opinion in a proper way.Service: Haircut

Excellent service. Friendly staff didn't waste anytime getting my hair cut to my exact specifications. I would recommend this business to everyone! They continue to provide fast friendly service.

Moved to the area recently and I have found my go to barber shop. Everything was great- environment, price, quality of my hair cut. Will certainly be frequenting Ron’s! Highly recommend

Went in for a hair cut, after reading great reviews online. My hair cut lasted about 10 mins, I’ve let my hair grow out for the last 2.5 years, the hair dresser didn’t even wet my hair, just combed it down and cut it. When I got home I noticed the hair on my right side of my head was about an inch longer than the left side. How does that even happen? I wouldn’t even go back to have them fix it. That’s how bad it was. Terrible hair cut, terrible experience. Was just rushed out of there with uneven hair. Would not recommend to anyoneService: Scissor cut

The two women working there when I went we're wonderful. I never felt rushed and they gave great advice on how to have my hair cut and how to style it.

Covid note: Call ahead and schedule an appointment. Three wonderful stylists here, you cannot go wrong, fair price and always a good cut.
