Rose Hill Restaurant

We love country food and country restaurants. I got the fried chicken with collards and string beans as opposed to green beans. The chicken was almost as good as my wife's. The veggies were the best I've ever had. My wife got their signature dessert -- lemon-blueberry pie. She loved it. The tiny piece she let me try was delicious. The hour-plus drive was well worth it. We will go back, again and again.

Really yummy food. Our waitress brought us a basket of hush puppies and they were so good! We were stuffed, otherwise we would have definitely had one of the desserts. The prices were really reasonable too.

Very nice restaurant. We were traveling thru area. My husband ordered the pot roast and I ordered fried chicken. Both were delicious. Also the hushpuppies were awesome. We will go back. I'm looking forward to the BBQ and seafood.Food: 5/5

What a great little family restaurant. Super bright and clean. Simple Southern family dining. Senior and junior specialty pricing available. Portions are sizable. Ribs and mashed potatoes were the bomb.Food: 5/5

My wife and I shared the captains platter, everything on it was great and cooked just right! The waitress and staff were super friendly. We had so much on our plate that we couldn't eat it all and had to get a to go box. I highly recommend it if you're in the area.

The Rose Hill Restaurant is our 1st stop on our trips to Rose Hill to visit family. Every menu item a marvel of home cooking and the pies and cakes are famous - rightly so! And the service is exceptional - every time! We’ll be back again soon!Food: 5/5

You know the fried chicken's going to be great when you have to wait 25 minutes for it to fry! The wait is worth it! It's like waiting for Grandma to fry your chicken! And deeelicious...mmmm!! Can't wait to go back! Rose Hill is a perfect in-between stop from the Raleigh area and the beaches.
