I was raised in a home where "homemade" was the only way to make everything. Although I grew up in Canada, my home could have been transplanted to Sicily and fit right in! I'm glad my mother insisted that I learn how to cook and bake. If you come to my home and you smell cookies baking, I'm relaxing! It's how I unwind; it's how I relieve stress. Nothing gives me greater pleasure than baking and watching someone enjoy the fruits of my labor. I'm always experimenting with new recipes and I won't quit until they are perfect.
Of course, I have my taste tester, my husband, Nick, who will sample everything I bake as each tray comes out of the oven. My daughter, Nicole has also inherited the passion for cooking and baking and I am happy that the tradition will continue for another generation!
