The reason we decided to go there was because it was recommended. We had gone years ago, and it was lousy!! Not this time! We decided to get a plain pizza, as you can tell how good an Italian restaurant is by a plain pizza, also chicken parm is a good test as well. Anyway... we weren't disappointed! The pizza came out hot and tasty, and it didn't last long. Oh, by the way...I got a look at the chicken parm, as it went by....it looked fantastic! We'll be going back...that's for sure.  08/25/2023 Back again.... Rose's is more than I had wrote about some time ago. This time we decided on chicken Marseille and of course, chicken parm with an order of sausage and cheese ravioli with a really nice salad with a dressing of apple cider vinegar and oil...delicious, cold and fresh. All made to order with a basket of bread,actually two baskets. Everything was delicious and made to order. Nothing just sitting in a pot. I'm willing to wager that whatever you ordered would be excellant! Cheers

I can't find anything wrong!!! If I could give it 10 stars I would. I had the lasagna and my wife had chicken parmesan with spaghetti. All came with salad and bread. Cold beer is a plus. The portions were very large. Our server Kloodi was so nice and very attentive. We will be back next week!Food: 5/5

Rose's has always been a great place for brick oven pizza and Italian food. But they have really cranked it up lately. The pasta sauce was fabulous and the chicken parmesan was the best I've had in a while.Food: 5/5

I always look for the local spots this was the perfect one! Perfect local restaurant, great food, great service. I would highly recommend Rosa's Italian to anyone who happens to be visiting that area of Portland. A little out of the way well worth the drive

Do not have a single negative thing to say about this place or their food. Pictures do not do it justice. Loved the salad dressing and unique buffalo sauce. My the chicken parm was to die for and huge, can't wait for the leftovers. Everything was delicious!

Well I used to love this place until tonight. Google says they're open till 9:00 p.m. and they were open but told us the kitchen is closed because they're going to close at 9:00 mind you it is Saturday night. We drive from Lewiston and it wasnt even ten past 8. Thanks for nothing, your loss of business from us. We let you're other customers know too. Big loss for the company

Had to wait about 15 minutes to get a table, but I now understand why. The Chicken Marsala was very good. Lots of salad and large plates.

Always a great meal no matter what you order. A while back I had the Veal Parmesan it was rnough for two meals. Recently I had their steak tips again, enough for 2 meals and cooked to perfection. Their salad is served family style!

This is a hidden gem well worth discovering. Excellently prepared Authentic Italian food, made with fresh high quality ingredients. Open Kitchen is visible from the main dining room. Seafood dishes are a specialty and are all delicious, you truly can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Healthy portions as well as free salad and bread insures you won't leave hungry. Next time we are going to try the brick oven pizza. Ample free parking as well.
