Good food and awesome service, even when the restaurant was very busy. Atmosphere was great, wish they had more indoor seating for windy days! Thanks so much!
Super tiny. Seating was extremely limited and close quarters. Probably want to get take out. I got a cheese burger and fries. I had to move the pile of fries off my burger to start eating. Everything was abundant and tasty. This was probably the burger I've had in forever, AMAZING. Thick fries were fantastic. Sorry my burger had bites I didn't think to post a pic until after I realized how great it was!!!
We loved the food here and the service was also wonderful. It's a family owned business since 1954 with so much love and cariño on display. The green chile sauce is amazing - every dish we tried quite yummy and the desserts we're also wow!
I was impressed. Breakfast burrito with red sauce and rice with a glass coke was 15$. Good too. Large portions. I ate half of it, had to get a go box. Close quarters. Comfy. Grill is close too so it can be smokey. Reminded me of Country Flame but spotlessly clean and extremely hospitable
Nice local gem. Large portions and great prices, but not top end Mexican Cuisine. You get a lot for a little though. If that's what you want, this is your stop. Cash Only. Be Advised...
So, where to start.... It's a really cute little "hole in the wall" type place, it's clean inside from the few min I was inside, and the outside patio in back was nice. However, it's the FARTHEST thing from "authentic" Mexican food I've ever seen. As you can see in the picture, it comes with the nacho cheese you can get at the gas station, but at least the gas station one tastes decent and some places, this cheese has a weird texture and tastes like what I would imagine flavorless pudding tastes/feels like. The chips were very stale, I feel like I was given the leftovers from the day before because I ordered to-go and I was kinda in a hurry, if I had time, I would have gone back, but I'm in route across the U.S. The best part of the quesadilla was the green chili sauce they put in it, but it's also what ruined it. I took a bite maybe 5 min after it was handed to me and I got in my car, and the bottom was soggy, and I'm pretty sure that side wasn't even heated up. Normally, you put the cheese INSIDE the quesadilla, but all of it was on top?? And it was rock hard, kinda like it was microwaved. Same with the sour cream inside. Have you ever re heated something that had a tiny bit of sour cream on it? You know how it gets all chunky and gross! Yeah. Was also a bit much to put like 2 thick slices of tomato, cut in half into the quesadilla. If you're looking for an "okay" meal and don't wanna spend too much, and you're ok with being severely disappointed, this is absolutely the place to go. But I would suggest Taco Bell for a more "authentic" experience. ‍‍
This place is amazing. Yes the inside is very tiny but the atmosphere of that tiny space is big, huge in fact. I had never came to this restaurant before but will be coming back often. I ordered for myself a taco salad as take out to wait on. I was treated kindly and with plenty of smiles. As I stood and waited I smiled and laughed at the close interaction most places dream of. I paid what was a fair price just to have money returned as an accidental over charge. With of course apologies for the charge. I didn't take the refund because the food was amazing and the time spent waiting and watching was worth it. Such a great job being done there Thank you all
Sorry I didn’t get photos! The food was so good my husband and I stuffed ourselves! I had the combination Mexican platter with enchilada, taco and tostada with beans and rice. The green sauce was incredible! The tortilla chips were fresh and crispy. My husband had two tacos and shared my gigantic plate. The place is tiny and we had to wait a few minutes but once we started eating none of that mattered.
Love the diner style. Food delicious and perfectly spicy! And yummy deserts!
Incredible chili burger. Open sandwich style with chili cheese sauce all over it. Yum!
