We were here for our bowling league end of the season banquet. The facility was more than adequate for the event. We supplied our own buffet and beverages.
Very bad management - unaware of requirements of their own rentals and will try to shut down your event merely two days to the event asking to go to an alternate location! Worst possible management, lack of competency of superintendent and the team, unaware of diversified cultural requirements and virtually no people skills!!! I will NOT RECOMMEND to rent any facilities from this park district for any of your events!
A very nice facility for the kids to play sports. Better parking lot than other park districts too.
Went to Garden Show. Really nice buys and helpful members!
I rented their facility 10 North for my daughters first birthday. We had 70 guests and I couldn't have been happier! The facility is clean, and renting it was a total breeze with Dana and Abby! They were super organized and made sure the tables and chairs were set up to my specifications prior to our arrival. There is also a kitchen you can use which was great for prepping. I would definitely host and recommend the space for anyone hosting a party or event!!
Went to a kid's party for family and friends in the gym facility of the recreation center. It was a very large venue for a large group of people with a full catering line that was brought in. The only problem with the venue was that because it was a gym, the acoustics were not good and the DJ was too loud. Despite being a Park District building, beer was allowed to be served, which was good as many public venues do not always allow alcohol to be served. The price to rent the facility was also very reasonable.
Very clean. Wide open spaces. Well maintained. Love the paths.
Been in Roselle 16 years, my kids and I have frequented the park district for joining for activities. Had unfortunate experience recently. Then the RPD top administrative staff handled poorly. This was brought up in a complaint with the RPD administration with details. Before administration even talked to me, they rushed to judgement & made a decision, handled things poorly, did little about the issues. Lack of follow up communication about the incident. I've heard complaints about RPD administrators & programs. Not cool RPD. This could have been managed much better from the start and from that point on.
This is a decently scenic park for the suburbs, I'd say one of the best in the general area, it has baseball cages, a playground, multiple exercise machines, a basketball court, and a push up assistant device.
My son attended preschool and loved it his teacher has been teaching there for 30 years very nice we both enjoyed the field trips the kids had. Great place for preschool I recommed it to everyone with small children
