I want to know what will be done.the grounds are a disgrace.garbage pail full to the top. Honestly it’s very unsettling and we should not have the visit our loved one in these conditions.
I'm not pleased with Chapels of Eden and the Rosemont Crematory either this time or in November of 2019 when these places get businesses to take care of the deceased but lack pride in taking care of the family members we trust them to prepare for their services. Whatever you don't choose these two places for your family members. If I could give them no stars I would. Poor service around the board!!!!!!!!!!!!
My husband, son and I drove from N.Y. Hudson valley area. Our plan was to visit my Dad's Willie Smith grave site. Unbelievable I could not find my Dad's grave. I seen overgrown weeds covering the headstone. A few headstones we're out of place. There were no markers. I wish I could move my dad remains. R. I. P Daddy
Just called to find out if my grandmother was located in the cemetery and the lady sounded annoyed and said oh great. They she asked me the year told me she was alone in the office and asked that I call back.. I was taken back took a breath and thanked. I guess for nothing..
Terrible place to bury your loved ones. Stones have sunk in, grass is either overgrown in some areas while patches in others. Duck feces everywhere. You can see tire marks on some stones from the tractor driver running over them. Pure mess, this just goes to show how much they care.
I hate having to give this place any stars! Awful place. You pay good money & what do you get NOTHING! My family has had someone buried there since 1960 & there are a lot more there now, 2 are Military graves & the Family still owns a number of plots. The place is always overrun & you can even read a few because of the over growth & some of the Headstones are sinking in so badly. Pathways you can fall or just trip on because of being cracked, uneven & roots sticking up. There is always a bunch of Geese & Geese Poop all over. Have complained many times over the years with nothing being done. My Sister & I spent hours cleaning off & cutting grass, weeds & roots around the headstones. We couldn’t of cause raise them. If I could I would remove them all. It is disgraceful how it is & have found the Staff to be rude, unhelpful & uncaring. I am not the only one in the Family who feels this way.
I was extremely disappointed to arrive to this place where my family members are buried to find the grass overgrown to the point where stones have been completely covered. It looked like it had not been maintained in months. While searching for the headstone of my family members and walking the grounds, I discovered that I was stepping on stones of others loved ones in addition to duck/geese feces. It is a shame that the grounds are not maintained. I had spent an hour searching for the grave marker without success after a 3 hour commute. Complete disappointment on how my and others loved ones are treated, even in death. Absolutely, no respect.
My grandparents and aunt are buried here, which is such a shame. The grounds are overgrown. You can't even find the headstones. Then, when I went today my grandparents' headstone is missing. I am hoping that they lifted it out to rest it as it was settlibg badly and we had informed them of the problem. But I am concerned that it may have been stolen, which according to the workers happens often there is there is bronze which there was on the marker. It's a sad, sad place.
I called to inquire about my nephew remains. The funeral establishment who handled the arrangements was at a lost to why it was taking so long to return our love one. I was initially put on hold for 9 minutes. I had to call back to get a impatient staff member who chastised me for contacting them. Just because you are dealing with the dead, who cannot complain don't treat the living like they don't matter after you collected your money from grieving families.
It was a horrible experience! No markers or any indication where the sections are! They really should be a shame of themselves! At least they can treat folks loved ones with respect! It took me 1 hour to find my mothers grave!!!!!! The memorial park don't deserve any stars! I plan to contact the township, and the Govern's office!!!!!!!
