"The grandeur of a bygone era awaits you at Rosemount, a Victorian house museum offering guided tours. The five-story, 24,000 square-foot mansion was the home of prominent Pueblo businessman John A. Thatcher and his family. Built in 1893, the mansion showcases 85 percent of its original furnishings, accessories, decorative arts, custom craftsmanship and more. It is a grand example of where the fashionable East met the rugged West in the late 19th century. The museum is closed during the month of January every year for cleaning and repairs.
