Some of my fondest childhood memories growing up in a small town are of helping my Dad take care of the wide variety of flowers he planted yearly in our back yard. Even now, I can hear him happily whistling as he nurtured his garden. He definitely had that proverbial "green thumb". While I inherited his love for flowers, I unfortunately did not inherit his "green thumb", so the flowers I nurture now are of the silk variety. The good news is that, with silk flowers, I have access to flowers from around the world, and I am limited only by my imagination.
