Rosie's kitchen Mexican Restaurant

We went at Sunday lunch because we were in the neighborhood and the reviews were reasonable. We enjoyed the food immensely! There was a long list of meats to choose from, including tongue which I got on my taco, and was tender and tasty. The tostada was a meal in itself loaded with stewed pork, and stayed crispy. Again delicious! The toppings were just right and not over loaded. The cashier was patient and helpful.

Quite lovely, simple, light, and wonderful and friendly service. Homemade tortillas are great. Loved trying the extra crispy fish, Majarro and Camarones al mojo de Ajo. Look forward to coming back.

Found this little place yesterday on a drive home. Everyone knew each other and the feel of the place was super friendly and fun. The food was awesome!! Highly suggest!! I even had enough for lunch the next day!

The Shrimp Ceviche Tostada is so delicious! As well as the Carne Asada taco. I appreciate the ambiance, reminds me of my childhood in many ways. If you like spicy sauce try the Habanero hot sauce.

We stopped here on the way through town, service was fast and the food was good and not too salty like you find at some counter-serve places. It is located right next to a little lake that you can walk around after eating which was convenient for us since we had to walk our dogs. If you are looking for enchilada/rice and beans/heavier mexican food this place is worth checking out. Parking: There are maybe 20 spaces for 3 restaurants. It was fine getting parking on a wednesday evening, but imagine it gets trickier during the lunch rush.

I was not sure what to expect. It was not a fancy place but do they ever serve good food. This was way better than the other Mexican restaurants I have tried in the Portland area. This one is by far the best.

Just had the best fried fish since Louisiana every fin was as crispy as a chip. And they also knew to ask if to cook it extra well done. I am looking forward to having it regular.

Love the service, nice folks here. the chicken taco, enchilada, tostada and barbacoa is also delicious. Horchata is great because it's not too sweet. Some places make it way too sweet but not here. Plus you get free chips and salsa. And they're hot

Highly rated on Yelp, we visited one afternoon. Being from CA, it has been hard to find a Mexican restaurant that meets my tastes. Until Rosie's! Everything here is homemade from scratch. They make everything! Enjoyed the habanero salsa, heat with wonderful flavor! My son and I enjoyed fish tacos and pastor tacos, and chips and salsa. The owner/manager visited our table more than once to be sure our order was excellent. We were happy to have found Rosie's and you will be happy too! Give it a try!
