My experience today at this location was insulting. I purchased a statue for my garden the price tag was clearly on the merchandise yet the cashier calls for back up to verify the price and once she returns I ask her so was the price correct or not she replies it was correct.There was no need for her to get a price check other than because I’m a person of color she felt I changed the price. I will never frequent this location again! Also I was not greeted or thanked for my business.
Started asking me to bring my items to the counter to take the tags off before I could even self check myself out. Then started laughing at me the supervisor and checkout dude cuz I said no to a bag and took his sweet time checking the two items on my receipt. Disrespectful and rude
so my experience was great however, I first hand saw my friend who is African, get treated very poorly at the self check out, so bad in fact I am leaving a review on her behalf. first, I can only assume the difference in treatment was because of her race, patty went out of her way to make my friend feel very unwelcome at ross, upon paying she fine toothed her purchases over three times and accused her of having more items than she paid for only to realize it was a set, she did not bother apologizing, and was still quite dismissive and she wasted so much time being difficult and rude only to be wrong, she checked prices, then she went to skus for each one...it was just above and beyond extra behavior of which I have never ever experienced. I think patty needs retraining on how to treat the customers and most importantly on not being biased. People have enough to contend with, and being kind can go a long way.
I wish I can give no star, I have never experienced this in London or anywhere have been in England, came for holiday and went to Ross store in MenifeeCalifornia.A lady not sure she is a lady called Patti was at the self checkout..... she was proper discriminatory. She had checked the price tag and packed my stuff only for her to get them all out to check the barcode and questioning me for prices when she has the receipts which corresponded. Can't type it all but, she was way above and might need to be educated, re- oriented on people of colour. By the way I went with a friend who is a different skin colour who she was polite to while checking out. Have heard of racism in America , Ross Menifee was the first to dish it out.
This Ross could be a solid 5 stars but one bad apple can ruin the bunch! JESSICA, YOU’RE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!!! As you can see from my previous reviews, IM BIG ON CUSTOMER SERVICE. I’ve never seen you smile in this work place and I am beyond sorry. Please let me know if you need work that allows you to completely be yourself and smile and have a great time whenever you want.
We got so many Christmas gifts!!! Great great deals and so much stuff for the kids! I love Ross because they have bath stuff and house stuff and play stuff and so much fun stuff!!!!!!
It's a nice welcoming store But there women's clothing selection is very limited
Worst experience at a ross I was being followed the whole time by a tall lady with a clip board and also when I went to a different section they would send an employee to be in the same section,i felt extremely harassed especially when I went to the bra section a pregnant employee with glasses kept making animal noises when I was near,i felt extremely uncomfortable and unsafe ,i am not sure why they were being rude,i was minding my business and trying to shop for holiday gifts but the animal noises were very unnecessary,i called to ask for the name of the woman who was making animal noises about me and whoever answered the phone at 8:45 on Tuesday November 15,2022 laughed and hung up .
Definitely recommend this place!
Unfortunately corporate thinks one person can help all of self checkout!??? With only one station to remove security tags! Employees are wonderful even though obviously over worked!
