It’s really great medical school and I’m student in this school and I feel so comfortable studying in the school
Anyone out there fail the Pharmacy Technician Certification Exam after completing entire course/externship? I ended up with a 3.8 gpa at graduation but the Exam was nothing what I studied for??
I am currently a student here- I have really high anxiety, Im the type to need constant help and reassurance and understanding peers and instructors. This place has truly shown kindness, patience and understanding people! I could not be more comfortable here at Ross! Everyone is really there to help you succeed at your future career and provide sources along the way! They are soooo willing to work with you on just about anything! I highly HIGHLY recommend this place!!
Ross was a great learning experience. I think the attendance policy is a little too strict as life happens and missing days cannot always be stopped. I really love the fact that they are so helpful at finding jobs and they focus on more than education. its about teaching you to be financially stable and how to really grow your knowledge of yourself and your abilities. Can be very overwhelming with such fast paced programs.
My experience at Ross was great! The instructors are very supportive and brief during lectures, everything lectured is also practiced hands on. The instructors make it a goal to have their students at their best and ready for when they go out on the field. Very great school and fast paced. I Highly recommend!
I've had an absolutely amazing experience here at Ross. The instructors are wonderful. They work with you in every aspect to help you get through this program. The staff are all friendly. They make it a point to make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I would recommend this program to anyone willing to take the next step in their life. Thank you Ross.
Everybody at Ross, to include the instructor, support staff and administrators care to make sure that I am successful. I like that they prepared me for the workplace in addition to the technical learning. I like the mix of "book learning" with hands-on practice. Definitely recommend.
This school was one of the best decisions i have ever made. The teachers are fantastic and the staff is so friendly and you all become like a little family while your there. They watch you and help you grow into this competely different person but all for the better they strive to make sure you're going to succeed.
Ross is a great school. I met so many wonderful people here whom i've grown close to and learning with others made it way easier than just stepping right into the field and figuring it out from there. Work is Kind of overwhelming but it pays off.
There's definitely pro's and con's of this place. The pro's would be that the things you learn for the 9 months that you're here are very relevant to what you will be doing in the field. The instructors VA are extremely knowledgeable in what they are teaching. Personally I felt my instructor personally cares about her students. The con's are more on the corporate side of this place. If something happens to you medically where you are not able to come in for the week which happened to me you are docked for the hours that you missed and you cannot make them up, and they can even kick you out if they desire. The whole signing up for Ross thing is very irritating, there's a lot of high hopes for things that are non existent. They give you 20-30 min for lunch if you're lucky and they offer no fridges or microwaves to keep your food cool or to warm it up, but they allow the instructors to use them in the teachers lounge which students who are grown adults are prohibited to use. This may not seem like a big deal, but when you have to constantly pack a sandwhich or eat cold left overs or buy fast food ...it gets old very quickly. You also are NOT allowed to have any water or any other liquids in the classroom with you. So every time you're thirsty, instead of taking a sip of your water quickly, they make you go all the way into the "eating area" to get a sip and miss part of the lecture. Also, a lot of the assignments are very aggravating they make you feel like you're stupid for example relearning simple addition and subtraction. I think Ross should evaluate their students knowledge a little more before paying $14,000 to do 1st grade math. Also as I was unaware, the program I entered into doesn't make more than $10-12 in the real world. Although the knowledge I've gained is super helpful, it doesn't help pay the bills and now I have student loans to pay off. Do your research before coming here. Also some advice to Ross Corporate, don't blow students phones up to get them to come in and sign up, it's very obnoxious and a lot of the students complained about this. The staff is very kind, but this may be only relative to the Madison Heights location.
