Founded on the principle of SERVICE ABOVE SELF, our members strive to raise funds to support our projects, which include local community projects, such as the building of a playground for children of Adult Education students, the Healing Garden located at the York County Cancer Care Center (near the Sanford Airport) as well as numerous international projects. Several of our members have traveled to India to administer polio vaccine in the effort to END POLIO NOW. In addition, members have raised funds, secured matching grants from The Rotary Foundation to construct catch dams in remote and arid regions of India, as well as a computer training center and toilet blocks for women and girls in the Muslim village of Chahalka.
