The calamari was excellent and the portion is generous. Probably some of the best calamari I have ever had, and it's a sports bar. The bartenders and staff are all really nice and you can tell they care about their restaurant, which is important.
I had a really good fish fry. My husband had the Buffalo chicken sandwich and he said it was good but could have used a little more Buffalo sauce. The food is good, the staff is phenomenal and the prices are great. The atmosphere is loud but it is a sports bar! We will be back to try some of the other things on the menu.
This place is very welcoming. The service and food is great. They have been a big part of downtown Elmira for a long time and I always love outdoor events in their areaFood: 5/5
we ate a fish but it was salty and with a lot of black pepper this is not good for health.. the fish got better, but I was afraid to see someone preparing the salad, with their bare hands... without wearing gloves, honestly, I couldn't eat it.Food: 3/5
The staff were friendly when I picked up our office order. Cost is what you'd expect for a bar/restaurant and the orders were correct. Just wish they would cut the heads of lettuce a tad more for their salads.
Hands down the best fishfry around, staff always friendly and haven't had a bad meal ever ,one of my favorite places locally and will continue to be as they make you feel so comfortable and relaxed along with a delicious meal to me means alot
Not very impressed by anything here . The drinks either taste watered down or too sugary. The boss/owner is drinking on the job . Be careful around others most of them are drunk or on something , they’re acting crazy.
First of all we chose this place because it clearly states its a "Sports Bar" w/25 this. This clearly was a place we wanted to be to watch the playoffs and celebrate a birthday. There were 6 of us and we were trying to have fun... seeings how we were clearly in a Sports Bar we weren't thinking about watching out language and voice volume. Haha clearly that's not allowed by non- regulars..I was approached by the owner and told to calm down oh yes just me about of the 6 of us.. he said to me "This is a family restaurant " !!! Well let me tell you. It isn't a family restaurant. You are clearly a Sports bar that serves food. One of our friends left because he said he refused to give money to a place where you can't be yourself. I kinda just let it go..well about 30 minutes later. These 3 guys came in and were right by our group. These guys were allowed to be loud and curse.. nothing.!!! I mean absolutely nothing was said to them!!! Actually the bartenders were raising hell with them. The owner wasn't that far away that he couldn't see and hear what was going on. The bartenders that were on when we first got there very friendly and attentive. The night bartenders were ok..just not very attentive. I was very surprised that they were allowed to drink behind the bar. It was a very long time since I had been there..and yes it will be a long time before I go back.. Please if you are going to identify as a Sports bar in your ad's don't confuse customers with the "It's a family restaurant " good luck to you.
Food was very well made. Very fun relaxing Christmas atmosphere around Dec.
Just a friendly neighborhood bar that the younger crowd likes!! It's a sports type bar!!
