Absolutely love the southern hospitality I receive when I walk in the door. The ladies are lovely souls and the foods are great and comforting! Nice clean cabins and serene lake. My little hiding place from the world!
"What do they teach in Hamburger High's math class? The meatric system!" I stopped here for lunch during a road trip, so I can't review the cabins. However, the restaurant is pretty cool. Good selection of food options, but I went with a standard cheeseburger and corn poppers. The burger was perfectly adequate, but nothing special. The corn bites were delicious though. I loved the way the inside was decorated, with old signs and fishing poles. They also had a small convenience store and a fishing supply store all in the same place. Worth checking out if you're in the area.
Really enjoyed staying with these folks over Memorial Day weekend.

It's a wonderful little hometown feeling store with friendly and helpful staff , it's clean , they offer a little bit of everything from food to bait and fishing gear and the restaurant food is absolutely amazing ... I love this place!!!
The restaurant food was excellent . The kitchen staff was very nice. Two of the 4 small cabins we rented had a leak issues. Cabins 3&4. Cabin 4 soaked half of the master bed Saturday night. When owner was told about it Sunday morning, she just said sorry . A discount should have been offered. It's not nice waking up soaked.
Roy's store is a wonderful place eat, socialize, and get the latest updates on fishing. The employees that work in the kitchen are the best. I wanted some cornbread that wasn't quite ready, she brought it to me when it was ready. What a fine lady. Our rooms were always clean and neat. Great place to stay.
I did not like it, and I don't plan to return. The "cabin" was nothing more than a storage shed into which a commode, a shower, and a couple of sinks had been crammed. They had a small tv, but it had been placed right beside two of the bunk beds, and there was absolutely no comfortable way to watch it. The woman in charge, who was RUDE and ILL-MANNERED, made absolutely no effort to make a first-time visitor aware of their housekeeping policies and procedures. However, the other ladies who worked there were very friendly, and I appreciate their efforts to inform me about their mode of operation.
Great breakfasts. Super service. A real old fashioned country store.
Very clean, very friendly people that runs the place. I have been knowing Miss Pam for 20 plus years and she is still the same ole Miss Pam. Still down to earth, she knows everyone by first name. She will do any and everything she can to please her customers.
