Look no further. Abby has transformed my hair over the last 5-6 years and I will never stop going to her. I always wanted natural looking highlights that looked sun kissed with minimal effort and she was able to achieve that over a short period of time without breaking or damaging my hair. Even my husband noticed how shiny and beautiful my hair is - and most importantly natural looking. I’m glowing every time I leave her salon. I am beyond thrilled to finally after much research have found our best hairstylist in NYC. HIRO Araki had left Julien Farel several months ago, and our group of "Hiro Devotees" kept calling Julien Farel salon to know his new whereabouts. And guess what!??? We found him just a few blocks away at Abby Halati Salon, located in a beautiful townhouse!!! He's at the nicest salon,  Everyone is friendly and seems to love their trade. Hiro is methodical, patient and most importantly is the only stylist who figured out how to give my blond hair volume and the perfect layers. I'm in heaven again. Abby is a true artist. She gives you natural looking color and highlights that look like you but many versions better. The highlights and placement lasts for a very long time and just get better with the months, never brassy or faded. I LOVED my experience at A.H Color Studio!!  The team is Five-Star Fabulous!!  I had a color consultation with Abby, and she took the time to share her vision of what I could do to achieve my hair color goals, and most importantly to get me back on track with the health of my hair for the long term!  The day that I went in for my color, I was transported to another world. The salon is a townhouse, nestled on a charming quiet street, a treelined block. I was offered a variety of beverages and selected mint tea.  I felt like I was in Europe at a spa.  The subtle fragrances of the luxurious hair products, coupled with the welcoming zen energy, left me feeling tranquil and pampered.  Abby is warm, present, approachable, and fully engaged when she is with you.  I explained the stress of my hair color journey and she knew exactly what I needed to get the results that I was looking for.  I AM THRILLED with my color!!!!  Abby is an artist; she hand paints your hair as if you’re a masterpiece.  After we finished the color, I got a blowout with Hiro!!  He asked me how I wanted my hair, and I showed him a few pictures.  He leveled it up and gave me a dream blowout!!  The entire staff was warm, inviting and overall, just made me feel at home! What I love most about Abby’s salon is that you don’t feel rushed, the energy is calm and zen, which adds to the whole experience with the DREAM TEAM at Abby’s salon!!! I am so happy to have found my dream hair home with a team that prioritizes its clients!

I have followed Abby around the world for Balayage for 8 years. Her work is impeccable and I feel like for someone who is naturally brunette she is able to lighten my hair in a way that keeps it healthy and also not brassy.
