This place quoted my son $400 for a root canal, but first they have to send him to the orthodontist and come back to finish the job. Since he only has $600 out of pocket and now insurance was used at orthodontist, now there dying is going to be $800 now for the cap plus $60 for a rush order since it has to be done by the end of the month. Now that he has no choice they doubled the cost. How and why?
Great practice and very friendly staff. Always providing prompt service and top notch customer care. The staff are all very knowledgeable and clear with what will be happening and next steps. Very easy to work with and schedule appointments. Would highly recommend this practice to anyone in need of a dentist.
Great experience today! They were kind and gentle. The dental higenist was quick and skilled. Dentist was awesome. Funny and so aware of even the tiniest bit of discomfort. Really looking forward to having him long term!
I was impressed with everyone that I met at the office, they were all very friendly. The office was beautiful, clean and open. The doctor actually did the cleaning as he tries to do for first time patients and he did a very thorough and great job. The assistant was friendly and professional as well. I would recommend them to my family and friends.
Don't believe your estimate. I went for teeth cleaning and during cleaning I was asked if I wanted my front teeth worked on. They are chipped and worn. I said "No." After after the cleaning the dentist then also asked me if I wanted my teeth fixed and I told him no not if I had to pay and I think my insurance would not cover it. He said OK but then as I was leaving the office the girl up front ask me if I wanted to fix my teeth fixed and said that it would be no out of pocket. That she had checked with the insurance and it would be covered. I said that's great then if it's not gonna cost me let's go for it. She had me sign the document and I came in the next day and got my teeth fixed. Then I got a bill from the dentist four $405.00. Which was the full amount for the work because the insurance didn't cover any of it. I went to the office to try to clear this up and was told that I had to talk to the office manager. Over a period of about a month and a couple phone calls I had not heard from the office manager even one time. I am now told that the document I signed that said zero cost to me was only an "estimate" and that I am responsible for the entire amount. I've never seen an estimate be this far off. After asking me three times different times to get this procedure done and convincing me it was not gonna cost the office would not do anything to help me. I paid them but will never go here again. Your response is not acceptable. Just pushing the blame on me and my insurance. Your estimate should have been based on real facts and conversation with the insurance company. You should be ashamed for doing this to a 73 year old patient on social security.
Friendly dentist with a pleasant bedside manner; however, an apparently routine simple filling has spiraled into 6 weeks of mouth pain and 3 or 4 followup adjustments to minimal-or-no improvement. The staff are all very quick to remind me that this sort of outcome doesn't happen often, but being the one to experience the 'routine procedure gone awry' doesn't really make their defensive statement have personal meaning, and frankly it directly serves to attempt to minimize and dismiss my painful situation, like doubly so when said to my face. Google says 2 stars is 'disliked it', 1 star is 'hated it': if not for the general friendliness of the folks there and the revisits to try to figure out a solution, I'd call this a 1 star, because I 'hate' not being able to chew with half my mouth for six weeks and counting. Before I went here I could eat normally, and now I can't. Hard to find the breakdown in logic for this rating. This whole experience has bummed me out immensely.
I’ve been going here for a year now, and I meant what I said last year. I found my dental family. Dr. Koenig is very sweet and confident in his work which puts me at ease. I always tell them my anxiety is up when I’m sitting in the chair. They are all soo kind and know just what to do to bring my anxiety down. I love Jessica the hygienist. She’s amazing. Everyone at the front desk are always so welcoming. I actually look forward to seeing my dental family for any future needs.
Great experience at Lago Vista Family Dentistry! Easy to get scheduled, fill out our paperwork online, and all the staff were a pleasure. Glad we found our dentist moving forward in our new neighborhood!
Always friendly and have good appointment availability. I appreciate that they take my insurance which not many places do. My kids and I have been going here for several years and have only had positive experiences!
Had a great experience with Dr. Koenig and staff. Had crown work done in a timely fashion with the upmost professionalism and care. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. I recommend anyone that needs dental care to Lago Vista Family Dentistry
